      EUROPEAN AMERICANS, AFRICAN AMERICANS AND LATIN AMERICANS, ARE ALL PART OF AMERICAN CULTURE. 🇺🇲 AMERICANS ARE A LOVELY MIXTURE OF ALL 3, OF THESE ETHNICITIES AND THEY SHOULDN'T EMBRACE IT.

    there is no particular difference between north and south, the south is simply the result of a rapid ethnic replacement after the Castilian conquest (1200-1492) the south is more tanned because it has preserved the native Iberian component of Neolithic origin (Mozoarab) and even more Roman DNA, in fact the Roman colonies were more in the south than in the north. Between 1492 and 1650 a large number of Castilians and Aragonese colonized Andalucia with 300,000 people. The Moors left more in Galatia-Portugal (10-15%) than Andalucia.

    No one in spain has "high levels of north african admixture." The moslem were expelled gradually with the reconquest of spanish territory from the moslem invaders, and the zones they left were repopulated with christians. You should update your data.

      Iberians have between 0-12% North African admixture this is genetics fact corroborated by multiple genetics studies. I wouldn’t consider 12% high though. Most of it happened in first half of Al Andalus, so 711-1100 AD, this is also stated in genetics studies, so the moriscos that got expelled are not an argument

    So according to this, Celtic genetics have more weight than Roman ones in Spaniards. However, for Hollywood cinema, Spaniards never have dark enough complexions.

    • @Travelhistory844
      @Travelhistory844 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Celtic is around 25-45% of Iberian genome depending on region and individual. Roman is 15-25% if using imperial Roman sample which are southern Italian like and include east Mediterranean admxiture from Greek, Anatolia, and the Levant. Basque are the only people without central/east med admixture as well as without North African admixture, so they are genetically closest to the Idon Age Pre-Roman Iberians/Celtiberians. Basques can be modeled as about 50/50 mix between Bronze Age Iberian and Celt (similar to modern French, not British isles which people assume)

      @@Travelhistory844 Yep. In fact, they consider themselves so pure and different that sooner rather than later they will draw a border that prevents them from being contaminated by the impure Spaniards (maketos). They always considered themselves superior based on their racial purity, although when Spain was an empire they considered themselves the best of the Spaniards, when the empire ended they began to consider themselves better than the Spaniards. We are fully aware of this.

    Originally we all had brown eyes, however, according to researchers at the University of Copenhagen, it appears that a genetic mutation in a single individual in Europe 6,000 to 10,000 years ago led to the development of blue eyes... therefore that description is wrong.

    Sorry, but the romans don't left any DNA in Iberia, we can say in visigoth and muslim era too. We were the same celtiberians assimilating the different cultures

    • @Travelhistory844
      @Travelhistory844 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Wrong. You’re just speaking out of opinion piece. We have extensive genetic testing on the history of Iberia from samples going back to the Paleolithic, so can clearly see the admixture and when it entered Iberia. Roman admxiture is 15-25% depending on region. Celtiberian makes up the majority but Iberians (aside from Basque) are not fully Celtiberian. This is genetics fact. Look up Olalde et Al 2019 or Bycroft et Al 2019 if you want to actually learn about Iberians genetic history, instead of basing on uneducated options
