Hey Xaereth, what's up? I've been testing relic 7 Cpt Rex extensively in Arena, GAC and recently Secrets and Shadows. I think you might be mistaken on modding him. You don't need speed mods to get him to 325+ speed, at which point his unique (+TW Hera omicron) will push him to the 350-380 range so he goes 1st. He needs to go 1st,, then he needs LOTS of potency (sets) with a cross potency primary to land his AoE debuffs. That will ensure Tenacity Down and pass 75% turn meter to phoenix teams. That makes them all go next. Using the correct sequence of specials, you can ensure 2 kills before most enemy teams get a turn. In TW, Hera's Omicron will give 10% stacking offense to all phoenix for each special used, which means that his damage is not that important. I'd love to talk about it if you want, but you might reconsider your Rex thoughts.

Great video. For Rex it should be noted that his unique adds 25% crit chance. Sabine adds another 25% if she's with him. Still I modded mine to have 100% before uniques and they took 5 battles to beat in TW front wall defense last week.

I have my Zorii with Finn(L), Poe, Rose and R. Trooper. This team is one of my favorites because they can melt faces and this lineup allows me to keep the Resistance bros. with GL Rey. I suggest you try that lineup if you haven't already, it doesn’t disappoint and makes unimpressive characters very useful.

My Merrin is still only 6*, but I have her modded with offense and potency set, and a potency cross. I do want to try full potency like you’re doing, but under 7* it’s deceiving

Not sure you need that much potency. On top of talzin’s 50% potency bonus, Asaji’s omi gives 30%. What do you think about tenacity? Is that jabba specific?

Merrin should be tanky, in contrast to the rest of the team. Ideally protection based. Other than that, tenacity over offense. And yes, Potency of course.
Hondo should be fairly tanky, rather put offense/health sets on him with health primaries and high offense secondaries, crit dmg is nice.

I'm not sure I understand why you wouldn't want to make Merri very tanky. If she dies, you are in trouble as you lose most of the bonuses she provides. Yes, outside of Merrin and Daka,, you want the other 3 to be able to die without too much effort, but Merrin needs to survive, right? What am I missing?
