Looks like full time RV is going to become a thing in Australia also :) found your channel by searching for how to fold a portable shower tent.....looks like you posted that two years ago.....does not look like you have grown much so there must be some secret sauce to getting those magical thousands of subs?? anyhow figured we may just tag along for a bit....we have relatives around the Golden Coast area You have a GREAT country to get out and explore
G'day from down under! Thanks for subing, hope you enjoy the ride. There will be a party at my place the day I hit 1k subs! We just love travelling our great country and camping out under the stars next to a fire. I have a plan to travel Aus in a couple of years and hopefully see some amazing places. Stick around for the ride and enjoy! Check out my website thecampersatlas.com.au/ it's an interactive satellite image map of Australia with around 4,500 campgrounds on it, with photo's and videos of the ones I have been to. Type in Cape Leveque in the Search bar, taking my dinghy up there in July to go fishing! keep an eye out for that vid should be a ripper! Cheers Gaz
Google have a site for developers where they have lines of code you can use to get you started. It started off as a way for me to record all the campgrounds I wanted to see one day, and then it grew into a website that everyone can use. Hope you enjoy. Gaz
Ok I sent Bob Barker to come check out your site he does something similar here in Texas reviews the parks and such.....I really like how you did the campsites on a map that is clickable and gives you detail I will need to figure out how you did that as I think the idea is great and link in your YT videos to boot anyhow will be following and they say mimicking is the greatest show of respecting your work so hope you do not mind me doing something similar on my website....as I think the idea is great of course will always give you the credit for coming up with the idea
Regarding the comments @ 2:05 about strong south westerly winds all year round. Only half correct. The sea breezes, that is the thermal effect southerlies, South-south westerlies, dominate from approx October through to March-ish, with breaks around December January, during the hottest Summer months, or when heat troughs affect the coast. The Autumn, Winter and early Spring months are beautiful for areas north of Geraldton, with light winds , mostly easterlies, except for the worst winter fronts that push northwards.
