Sissel sings all over the place in terms of genre which brings out the dislikers who think her voice-style of classical lyric soprano deserves better. But she is being true to herself. Her mantra from her earliest career (interviews passim) has been just to sing and sing anything she likes. Among other Cool-Jazz examples of Sissel is a rare Jazz-scat on YT which she did in 2005, Buremarsj (Wedding March), a 40 year old Siss just enjoying herself and criticized for being flirty in jeans. I'm going to make a video showing how styles changed since 1985 (when she started singing professionally) until now. It should be fun to see how she changed through the years.
