I hope you enjoy looking at my "personal" photo album of Sissel. It includes 70 images of her singing, talking, or just being herself. For those of you who can't get enough of Sissel... this should do as your "fix" for today.
! ! 💖 Big job! A lot of time and effort was spent! Sleepless nights and the difficult choice of one single frame from hundreds and thousands of frames watched videos ... What can I say? Delight and Admiration for the Great singer and the Beautiful woman! Thanks Charone ! ! !
Each one of these are only 1/30 of a second out of her life. I feel as if I know her personally. I admire her gifts so much and I love the One who gave her the gifts. My creative gift is no where close to hers, but I want to use it to bless others... hopefully I'm doing that.
Excellent variety of Sissel’s expressions as she sings songs from all genres. I love her dimples and smile, but her eyes tell the story of the songs she sings. She uses the camera to connect with her audience and makes friends with the very first note she sings.
Sissel is just AWESOME! Her looks, her expressions, her connection with the audience, and of course her VOICE. God gave her all of it and she has used it well. Thanks Dashcam blogger this was fun.
Thank you for another example of our extraordinary Sissel’s abilities. I totally agree she would be a great actress. However, the constraints of that process would interfere we her personal goals. She has serious priorities that make profound statements.
I enjoy your Sissel vlog. One nice performance by Sissel is when she sing Part of my World live. It was before she cut her long hair in the early 90s. She's quite young at that time. The thing is that she doesn't only sing the lyrics, she also become Ariel. You can see how she imagine the imaginary world and the characters. I guess you're right that Sissel could become a dramatic actress. Thank you for regarding Sissel so highly!
I fell in love with her voice the first time I heard her sing (last October) and I've been a staunch admirer ever since. Did you watch my Sissel trivia challenge video? If so, what was your score?
@@dashcam-blogger Oh, I did regret I didn't ask you how and when did you discover Sissel. Its interesting and fun to know because I am Norwegian myself and same age as Sissel. As Norwegian we are exposed to Sissel basics via media. Ofcourse lots of Norwegians like Sissel's singing. We have never seen such talented singer from Norway. All in all, I came out 7/10-11 on your trivia. Internet has spread Sissel's fame world wide. Even tho Norwegians in the 1980s would think the world should know about Sissel, it was near unthinkable that it would happen but thanks to internet her fanbase is growing. However, currently I can see daily comments on TH-cam like "I just discovered her". Her name wasn't even mentioned in the movie Titanic. But, ofcourse fame was never vital to Sissel. Its like in New York, New York. "If you can make it here, you can make it everywhere" meaning Sissel could make it big on the Nordic market without losing herself.
That's a pretty good score compared to most... but since you are Norwegian maybe you should have scored higher! (Just kidding). I believe God knew that the internet was coming... and thus Sissel's gifts would be exposed to the world. And what a blessing they are to all of us. I discovered her because of my cancer. (I was bedridden and bored out of my mind and I started watching TH-cam videos and stumbled upon Sissel.) I'm older, and since I'm not sure how much longer I have down here, I want to make as many Sissel videos as I can so they will bless others long after I'm gone. I know Sissel doesn't sit around watching TH-cam videos, but if she ever did see my videos I hope she would be pleased.
@@dashcam-blogger haha well, my ambitions were higher than 7. I missed out on the side split hair, her dog and what year Sissel were honored by the king of Norway. I said 2006 so I ruled it out. Oh my, yes, the cancer! That is so sad to hear. You may be older but you seem vital and cognitive healthy and making vlogs. I have no idea what those celebrits are doing in their spare time but maybe she do watch your vlog. In private celebrits are ordinary people. We never know. Maybe an interviewer should ask Sissel that. hehe - Oh, yeah, I do watch DashCam Blogger! Personally I find your vlog very interesting. And now I did find the subscribe button even tho your vlog is recommended frequently to me. Keep up the good work!
You should have been able to say the chorus to Se ilden lyse... that would have gotten you 10 extra points and put you in second place. I'm glad you found the subscribe button and it's encouraging to learn you find my videos interesting. Are you a follower on Sissel's official Facebook page? If you are, I have a question to ask.
One emotion you might have included is her weeping. In some clips it can be seen that her eyes are swimming in tears by the end of singing certain songs. But the one where she is clearly crying is her performance of Down by the Sally Gardens (the great sad poem by Ireland's greatest poet, W. B. Yeats/TH-cam). It 's a performance that contradicts what she said in an interview about not being able to sing while crying. She did it and beautifully too. It's last line reads: "And now am full of tears" She was.
I did consider a "crying" shot. However, each image I used was 1/30 of a second, and unfortunately, close ups in Sissel's older videos don't have enough "pixels" in them to be able to do a screen capture and resize without being significantly blurry and sometimes even down right horrible looking. It's always a compromise between getting the shot/image I want/need and maintaining the quality of the videos.
I'm so glad you liked it Nanet. I think you'll also like my follow up video Sissel - A look back. It's only 2 1/2 minutes long but has a lot of other wonderful images of Sissel. There's many compilations I created from Sissel's Reflections series. If you watch it, let me know what you think. Have a nice day.

She's got it all... voice, smile, and eyes. It's amazing how humble she is. As they say, God made her, then broke the mold.
She is always beautiful no matter how she feels and expresses her feelings while she sings, great lady. 🇳🇴🌹
I totally agree. I hope to meet her someday (on this side of heaven).

I agree. Plus to boot, she has a bunch of humility.

After listening to Winter Morning and Free (her last two recordings) I'm convinced God has a new purpose for her platform.

This was a fun video and I loved the music. I am glad that she tends toward cheerful looks- it makes me smile.
I think we'll all agree with that.
My favorite song I have to listen to to help me literally stop my mind is "Slow Down" with the Tabernacle Choir.
Slow Down is so anointed and no one does it like Sissel. I also love My Tribute and Goin' Home. Well, actually, I love most everything she sings.

Some images I never saw before.
I had to look really hard to find some of these. I looked for a week and found other ones I also liked but were too out of focus to use.
❤👏💘🤩
So I guess you liked it?
