- In this limited series of videos, I'm taking you on a week-long trip to the Greek island of Crete, one of my favorite places on this planet. By the end of the series, you'll understand why :)
Spili is a small mountain village that is know for it's sources and the lion head fountains. An intrestesting stop on the way to Rethimno. But it also is a village that has seen a lot of it's younger people leave to start a new life or to study in the bigger cities , which resulted in a lot of empty houses that are slowly being eaten away by nature. The Ghost houses of Spili.
