The best SUV in the current market, Mercedes was smart not to change a lot in already extremely good GLE.

They jacked up the base price for GLE 53 by $9800 😢. 23’ was $76950 and now 24’ is $86,750. The net increase is Arnd 5-6k. The leather seats, panoramic roof and performance exhaust is all standard. That is 5k in options in 23’. Sucks for me as I had booked the 23’ (back in Jan) without leather seats and exhaust. My order is backed up that now they are giving me 24’ and I’ll have to pay the new price.
They did go up in price for sure. In case of a GLE 53 you are also getting and new larger turbocharger and 29 pound-feet more torque and probably about 0.3 s faster 0-60. Also standard are heated and ventilated seats, augmented reality for navigation, and "transparent hood" 360 camera. That is in addition to options that you mentioned. It's all worth it if you need it, not so much if you did not care for them. Thanks for your comment and I hope they will cut you a deal on 24.
@@MattTheCarguy thanks for responding. the only deal they cut me was to lock it at MSRP. No premium. Since I ordered the suv with 3rd row. No discount. Just a promise that I’ll pay nothing more than the MSRp! Except for panoramic none of the other options I cared for. I didn’t care for leather seats coz I have a toddler and I didn’t care to add 3k for leather seats when MBtex was just as good for $0. They say that Bermester sound is better than what they offered in 23’ and that is a big plus with now Dolby Atmos in it. I just couldn’t justify $4500 for 3D sound. May be in the next car.
@@kashifnyc you can try to negotiate some more when it arrives. If not, at least you know now where you stand. When is it arriving?

i hate it when reviews abuse new car, and someone else will have to pay for it. Pushing the rpm to 9k for a car with less than 10 miles is criminal.
well, the gauge goes up to 8K RPMS but the gear switch between 5-6K so little exaggeration here 🤣🤣
cant stand the new steering wheel , i think it let down this suv, don't know if its possible to upgrade to the double spoke sports wheel
I did not see that as an option in US but aak your local dealer if they can order one. What dont you like about it?

Thats where it starts and it actually did not feel underpowered but you can also opt in for inline 6 with the GLE450 or V8 with 580. Choices are there.
