This is such excellent piece of artwork. It is really a learning experience to watch. And it is so calming, the sounds , the leather. One can literally smell the leather and the dye. It is so satisfying and serene. Bravo and Thank You.

Thanks! I keep thinking about adding a soundtrack to my videos, but don't know if it would be more of a distraction.

I like the way you added bullet loops on the holster itself. It was a unique touch

You have a workable perfect tool to pull the lace through the hole. Why buy a special one.
Btw. Your videos made me purchase the Tandy grover. Seems better than the one I have.

ha. Every time I tell myself I need to buy a lace tool . . . but then it gets done and I forget.

Damn that is some killer ass work. Freaking amazing job, I have been working on holsters and every time I think I am getting better, I see a video like that and realize how far behind I am. I have need help with making templates and using the Tippman sewing machine.

Thats exactly how I feel 😂😂 I just made my first gunbelt, and now I’m looking at all these crazy gun rigs in awe.

What do you seal your dye with? I have issues with it rubbing off.

Hi I have enjoyed your video on making this holster, I was able to pick up ideas that I never thought of. Only one thing had me puzzled and that was at the 5:00 minute mark when you were applying what looked like sealer followed by using red dye in the channels. If that was sealer wouldn't it prevent the red dye from setting in?

That was neatsfoot oil. It "rehydrates" the leather after the dyeing process. It doesn't seal. In fact, I use it again before applying the red dye for the liner. I do this frequently on lighter colors as I think it helps distribute the dye more evenly.

nice hammer tie down holes might need some red dye

5:06 if you wouldn't mind, what are you coating the holster with?

With that barrel sticking out, it makes holster looks too small for that gun. I think you should send the holster to me. I have a 3" revolver that would fit that beautiful holster perfectly. :)
