There's a lot of negative shit in the comments here. Which is weird, considering that 90% of the ratings for this video is thumbs up, but I guess people who are dissatisfied speak louder than those who are satisfied.
I've been a Manson fan since I was in 6th grade. Im 26 years old now. A lot of people stopped enjoying his work after Holy Wood because it turned more personal than political. I am not one of those people. I've found something positive in all of his albums since then. Sure, maybe the songs don't have as much critique against society, but there's still a lot of sharp ones. Yes, even in "High End of Low".
This is a cool song, and his upcoming album seems promising. The video is just okay though, it could have been better. I absolutely love the loop at 2:55 , it was both aesthetically pleasing and bizarre.and I wish there would have been more weird shit like that in the video. I like the big black portal-snake eating the girl up, it looks creepy, but if you ask me it's not creepy enough. He should have had more dismembered limbs everywhere and took the whole thing further in every aspect, really creep people out. The video feels tame, by anyone's standards really.
I respect Manson as an artist enough to say that this video is flawed. But nevertheless, Im just happy that he's making music again. I hope he starts making movies and writing books as well. Im sure he has a lot of interesting opinions on things, and it would be a thrill to see him express those through other kinds of art.

Agreed, not quite weird enough. You have to blame the director more than Manson himself though. Even back in the day, Manson had dud videos. I've always disliked "Long hard road out of hell", and never really liked "sAINT" either. You could argue Manson doesn't care as much as he used to about the aesthetics of his videos as he did back then. Which is a shame, really. If they were going to use animation, I wish they'd take some of his paintings and animate them to one of his songs. That would be trippy and awesome.

Not only that, it was creative for a much *mature* Marilyn Manson. This shows his maturity, and one thing I appreciate about Marilyn, he matured as he progressed through his career. I got mum into Marilyn Manson back in the late 90s. It's funny listening to her tell people about liking him 😆 20 odd years later I still play his music to mum when he releases new music 🎶.
I would recommend listening and watching everything up until and including "The Last Tour on Earth." The current videos suck and I do not believe this is Mr. Manson (not the one I grew up with.) I would recommend watching Tourniquet and The Beautiful People. His live performances are awesome until he switched bodies, or someone took over his intellectual property, or whatever the hell happened.

I really liked this era of Manson. I think this style is a good transition to the older, mature, yet still rockstar persona of Manson. Pair that with John Wick movies where the music of this album was incorporated, it was a great combination of cool things I liked during those years.
