  • From MACRO to micro, Brìghde Chaimbeul transport her impressive talent from our opening event at BT Murrayfield to a very intimate session backstage at Leith Theatre with a mesmerising rendition of ‘Clann Ulaidh’ as part of our digital programme At Home in partnership with abrdn.
Playing the Scottish smallpipes, Chaimbeul is a leading contemporary performer of Celtic music and a native Gaelic speaker from the Isle of Skye. Though her style is rooted in her native language and culture, her performances take inspiration from a variety of global traditions. We are delighted to share Chaimbeul’s quiet and enthralling artistry with you.
If you enjoyed this live performance, we will be releasing more intimate music sessions across the month, as well as concert recordings and artistic shorts in our film series Edinburgh is a Story.
We rely on your support to help us bring accessible arts experiences to audiences worldwide. Find out more: eif.buzz/3EaYyUn
