    What blade do you use on your bandsaw to cut that for tiling?

    Hi Wondering why do you Tig weld as opposed to Mig weld? Not as deep? less to grind later?

    • @BakerForge
      @BakerForge  ปีที่แล้ว

      Correct. We just use the TIG torch to do a light fusion weld on the seams. This doesnt deposit any filler metal that would get pushed into the pattern of the steel

    Beautiful work! I love the billets. I bet this technique could be easily abused to make something positively garish. Rick roll Damascus, anyone? With great power comes great responsibility.

      @@BakerForge so corn starch is the material used in the 3D printer? It must just turn into carbon and absorbed in the steel then.🤷🏿‍♂️

    • @BakerForge
      @BakerForge  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Correct. The PLA filament we use in the printers is fully biodegrade and like 90% cornstarch. Which of course just turns to carbon and is absorbed into the steel like you said. 👍🏼

      @@BakerForge well what will be thought of next!! You could print out a Turkish twist pattern possibly, and save time with that, or anything else that usually takes a lot of time and some disappoint also.

    Скучно стало в области дамасской стали. Человек и его ум ушёл, остался компьютер и станки..
