I think the biggest and most important reason is they serialize the upper so you can interchange barrels withought buying a new “gun”
I have the Browing buckmark camper .its an awesome gun ,but i still want a Ruger 22/45 too

Those Glocks are some of the 22 that I never consider to buy.
Ruger mk4 , Browning Buckmark, S&W victory are way better shooters that that Glock.
