This song is 30 years old but is completely timeless. One of the greatest songs of all time.
I so remember! I was going through a divorce with my first love 1990. The music is haunting and the lyrics are painful yet beautiful at the same time. This song came at a perfect time. It was exactly what I needed to drown my pain in.
This song absolutely belongs in a music museum.
This is the best duet I’ve seen in my 60 years of being a consumer of “popular” music.

What...no. Lana del Rey has talent and passion and hauntingly smooth. She sound like a guttural horse. The European version of the voice had contestants, no even English that very way more talented than her.

Evelyn has a different style of singing, that doesn’t mean she isn’t good. She just needs the right song and tune to compliment her voice. I’m not a fan of all her covers, but do find her voice hauntingly beautiful when she just sings the right song!

No she is overrated and her voice is not suited to many songs. Retro maybe. And I am a Christian and there are better sings out there. No passion, no feeling.
So glad "this generation" has a chance to hear "Wicked Game" by Rick Isaak. It is a classic and if you've never heard of the late Roy Orbison (or even Elvis!), you will hear the sound of a timeless era that was as naturally beautiful as its stories were pure of love. Kudos to guitarist Jame Calvin Wilsey.

Chris Isaak is pretty awesome, that song is absolutely iconic. The girl who was doing the duet with him isn’t remotely in the same category. I don’t watch that show, but that format of putting someone on stage next to great talent does little positive for the contestant.

@@jennablue5763 she was so young getting married and hadn't been outside her little town. My husband is almost 8 years older than me and his steadfastness and patience really helped me to mature and I honestly see the same thing happening for Evelyn.

Horrible. No soul, no chemistry. She might pull off a Carole Pope song if she got some edge to her but otherwise she is terrible.
