This comparison is very amazing.. I was confidently going to buy action 5 after watching many reviews But after this meeting I decided to buy action 4

Almost the same) 5 has a larger dynamic range... but the image is darker by default...

Hi great video Yuriy ! Thanks! However two questions: Does the battery life on the 4 last as long as the 5 pro when you put the newer battery plus of the 5 pro in the 4?
And what about the quick record mode, i've seen that the 5 pro wakes up and records in 0.3 seconds, what about the 4, is it as fast ? Thanks!
Ps more supernight mode would have been nice because in the normal mode the low light shots come out better on the action 4, while everybody would use supernight mode. :)

Interesting question) In any case, action 5 has a larger battery capacity. That's why I think the battery of Action 4 can't compare with it.

However yes you can replace the battery with the latest firmware update. I think battery wise time would be around the same more or less ?

nice comparison, I do feel action 4 is brighter than action 5, and the cloud on the sky is clearer than action 5

Action 5 is better, it has a greater dynamic range. Much better picture and stabilization at night. Action 4 loses video highlights.
