I literally stopped being friends with someone because she was a one-upper and turned everything into a competition. Even if I told her I had a long and bad day at work?! I’d tell her I worked 12 hours and she’d be like “ummm I work 16 hour days regularly and do it all the time...I work 12 hours in my sleep. Ummm guess my week was more stressful than yours soooo...”
