Yep! I’m living through it now! My family has worked in plants for years now bc it’s the only place around here that pays decently, but the things they’ve had to go through and the way they’ve been treated? Not worth it. When you work at a plant like this, you’re like cattle to them. They don’t care whether you live or die. People died of heat strokes every summer where my dad worked and work continued as normal.

Sadly, this isn't the only company that has the priority of profit over safety. A majority of these factories that refer to their employees as "Family" don't treat their employees like family. It's one of the main reasons, I believe, that these next generations are refusing to work in factories. I know it's why I left my factory job.

I have a problem with this. I’ve been alive for 55 years. I have employed and have been employed. There is no way any boss is going to tell me to stay when I know danger is coming. These people were not slaves in chains they had free will to get away. Yes, they might have lost their job, but we all know jobs are readily available. I would’ve told them to piss off out of sheer self preservation.
