- HANSA C5 CHIPPER
Firstly I would to say a very big thank you to Hansa Chippers and Henton & Chattel for providing me with this demo unit to show on the channel.
I have to admit, the first time I saw this little chipper, I was very sceptical about how it would perform. It is a very compact unit (please see details below for the full specifications of this unit) but man was I wrong. This little beaut eats!
The footage speaks for itself - I was genuinely impressed.

Thank you for watching.
Thank you for this video- It was upon your recommendation I went and purchase one of these units and after using it for a couple of hours, I totally concur with what you have presented in this video. Simply a magic unit which just eats the foliage. Awesome!
Looks a fantastic little beast. It's be the perfect size work horse for my gardening business. I enjoyed playing spot the GTA throughout the vid too 😂 thanks for sharing pal 👍
😀 The GTA 26 is the perfect companion for chipping.
Thank you for watching buddy 👍
Thanks to your vids I went and got the big hansa pto chipper and not been disappointed. So keep doing the vids
😀 Awesome. Thank you for watching 👍
Just received my C7 last week for using with our small garden business and my quarter acre allotment. Outstanding machine, anything thats too chunky for is good for using in my log burner.
C5 is much cheaper buy also have worked for our type of work.
Yay, I have missed these videos !!
😀 Thank you
Nice to have you back 👍
😀 Thank you
Nice little outfit for up and down steps like you have there👍 who would ever forget to put the spark cover back on and pull your guts out on a machine trying to start it🤔....not me🙄
Wow, 2 months, hope all is okay with you and your family. Decent chipper. Excellent footage 👣👍
😀 I took some time off over Christmas and then got the dreaded Covid.
It is a great little machine 😀 Thank you for watching 👍
Very Nice video looks a good little chipper Thanks again
Good little machine for getting into small spaces. Good review mate.
A very impressive little unit.
Thank you for watching 👍
Cracking little machine 👍🏼
😀 Very impressive for its size.
Great little unit. Shame about the nuts but I guess I could always change them out for a cam lever set to make space in the van.
The nuts really are only a small detail. Also worth looking at the C7 as it has a little more capacity.
How many cm Are the Bagger branches
Good for the jobs I do, agree with the nuts though
😀 Thank you for watching 👍
Just got one of these today after watching this review. Anyone have any idea where the grease nipple is that has to be greased during maintenance?
I like it mate but I only work from a car, not a van or truck, so dont think it could fit.. I hate having to bag stuff and having the sticks poke through + extra bulk
It really doesn’t take long to remove the inlet chute, once it is off, it would easily fit in the boot of a car with the seats folded down. Being able to chip and reduce the bulk is a game changer. Also makes a great addition to a compost heap, or mulch depending on what you are chipping.
Thank you for watching 👍
Comparing to some of your other reviews of bigger hansa chippers this is OK as you say for smaller gardens.. The self feed on this doesn't seem as good
I know what a honda gx200 is but what in the world is a gp200???
A little pocket rocket 🤣
its a new cheaper motor built by honda to compete with cheaper motors, get the GX its been around for donkeys years and is very reliable if its still built to the same standards as the old ones. ive had a few, most abused one was on a drill site to supply water pressure 24hours a day for 9 months straight. We originally turned it off to refuel but wth a million other jobs we just fuelled while running in the end.
Just for interest sake, is this a Chinese brand..??
These machines are built by a fantastic company in New Zealand.
