An idea: If you insert 2 drive-in nuts (correctly aligned depending on the thread pitch and wood thickness) into a block of wood from both sides, the thread would be resilient in both directions.

Это называется "Параллельные тиски", в просторечии "Станочные". Созданы в начале технического развития человечества, металлическую версию этих тисков можно найти в продаже. Делать такие вещи из деревяшки вряд ли имеет смысл, лёгкие, неточные, неустойчивые, непрочные, а мороки на изготовление много. Инопланетяне не поставили ещё, хотя бы одну, стальную направляющую чуть ниже затяжного винта, как это делается на обычных тисках, болтанки было бы меньше.

Тиски хороши, слов нет. Но выгибает из не слабо. Думаю будет лучше из бакелитовой фанеры, ну и основание усилить, например две узкие полоски по которым скользит губка, сделать шире.
Нельзя делать выпирающий железный винт (выступающий за габариты тисков) на деревяных тисках . Идея очень хорошая , но фиксирующий винт должен быть вне рабочей зоны .

Very well done video; thank you for proving that most background music is detrimental to the quality of the video. I get so tired of watching videos with background music that nobody did any sound check on and of course it sounds like poop. People need to learn that the background music can either make or break their video and they need to do some careful checking to see if the video wouldn't be much better without background music. I'm going to make one of these.
