I remember back in ROC I had this strat that was rush with 5 ghouls and dk tech to necro while rushing and then go 2nd time with ghouls necros worked pretty well back in those days..

I wonder if adding Dreadlord for the vampiric aura to mitigate the health loss of Unholy Frenzy would help. The extra CC from sleep would be nice too.
Back in the day in 3v3 and 4v4, going necro+DL+DK with auras to frenzy heavy units used to be a thing, we're talking ROC days.
In comparison to Burrows how are Moonwells balanced? What about Night Elf and Orc in general?
Night Elves have buildings that can attack and move. And then they get Wisps that can mine wood anywhere. (While hiding inside of a tree). AND they can Detonate. (Which denies EXP, drains mana, damages summons, and removes status effects). AND they can burrow inside of Entangled Goldmines. (And buildings while constructing). And finally, they have the aforementioned Moonwells, which can heal HP and MP.
Meanwhile, all Orcs have that is unique is the ability to make their Burrows do ranged attacks when Peons burrow inside of them. And Pillage, (which they have to unlock via research). Oh, and Orcs also have spikes too, (though they have to unlock this as well).
So how is Orc balanced? Because when you compare them to other races they seem extremely under-powered.
The Orc heroes are extremely strong to compensate. The orc is expected to be the aggressor most the time, whereas NE plays defense super well, but none of its heroes are too good in an all-in confrontation(though they make it up with trickery like Evasion and Entangle), and their units are usually fragile(even bears go down fast, and MGs are super slow to come out).
Also, the Orc army is always the fastest on foot, and has some of the best scouting, and singling out units with Nets. Oh and TC. Just...TC existing lmao.
I almost always go DL, attempt fast expo, frenzy ghouls with necros timing attack. Most games either end in Infernal gg or mass dispel gg

This was the first time I saw Grubby was behind the opponent all the time in his video, but it is still a close game. Why Grubby had only one mine in the last game all the time and had to defend at homebase to counter attack.
IDK.. his opponent fast expand and attack and go tier three bear with DH FL both level 3. Grubby failed to cancel the expansion but no major mistake. Just how?

Couldn't they just reuse the wisp dispel animation without the sound, so you could see that you are getting dispelled ?=/

There's a lot of things here that surprise me and intrigue me as an aspiring newbie undead player... defending a base with 5 units vs max population... making abominations... one base vs multiple for entire game and being even? :C

because of your channel i went in warcraft 3, my very legit copy from back then, and tried playing against a pc. they're so bad. i'm like, awful, completely out of practice from any RTS, but i think i could still defeat 5 of them with my hands tied. bummer. i wish they made better AIs for EVERY game.
The NE mis-micro'ed at the start of the final fight, where he should have staffed his DH who was under focus fire, but instead staffed his only Chimera which would have absolutely destroyed the front line of aboms. He should have won that fight easily from the start without that blunder. Nevertheless with a total unit counter he still won. Aboms are just incredibly squishy units no matter what you use them for. Disease cloud is fine but works too slowly and isn't very useful when everything does so much damage late game. The mechanic should just be revamped, or abom given massive buffs.
I was thinking about this. The two main changes I would make to abominations are. 1, slower attack, significantly higher damage (overall moderate DPS buff). As in, make this the highest single target ground unit hit in game, but give it a long wind up. Thematically, this thing should hit the hardest, and ludonarratively, panicking to defensively micro whatever unit the abomination has managed to go to melee with out of the way feels right.
The second change I would make is, abominations should leave additional corpses and/or blight like the skull item when they die (contingent on an upgrade, lets call it Corpulence).
Abominations ARE multiple corpses after all, they should act like it. And blight is nice
@@ambion19 The problem with abom is their tanking ability, people generally don't build them for damage, because 1) they are clumsy and slow and 2) are fat and have huge collision size such that they spend a lot of their time simply moving to the targets than actually attacking them. That's why they gave them disease cloud - so they could still be useful just from moving around in the enemy army. The issue is it's just a woefully weak upgrade, compared to say bears abilities or taurens' aoe. I think one way is to give them more armor (so coil heal and cannibalize are both more effective) and also give them some kind of death explosion aoe so that if you have a bunch of them, and enemy has counter and focus them, they have to at least pay attention to the burst damage when they die so to not wreck their own ground army and heroes.
NE was ahead the entire time that game -- it's not just 'unit counter' or abom is underpowered -- lmao if you think grubby should win that game
@@attention_shopping I don't think Grubby should win that game, but it does demonstrate how pathetically bad aboms are. It's not a either/or issue. Grubby played poorly, but aboms are also weak. How many aboms do you see get made in top level professional tournaments? I haven't seen one for years.
Grubby got absolutely destroyed throughout the whole game which gave the NE a massive 20+ supply. Aboms (1/2) are incredibly useful and single handedly win games if the UD hits their t3 timing on the expo. It will be 50/50 or 60/60 but the NE will never be able to heal the dryads. 2 destros destroy the bears and the DH/second hero gets focused. Complaining about aboms in the match up is absurd. Very low level comment
Why does Frenzy work for UD but Bloodlust doesn't work for Orc ?
I'm not 100% certain but I'm confident it's mana costs. Bloodlust is the shaman third rank spell, so it costs more than Unholy Frenzy, which is a rank 2 spell. Plus undead has access to reliable mana regeneration through the obsidian statues, PLUS shaman mana has to be saved for at least a few purges, P L U S skeletons are melee and ranged units that come with necromancers so you can mass more of them than shamans. Altogether it just means undead can afford many many more frenzies than orc can afford Bloodlusts

@@TheVoodooMakerthe nail in the coffin comparing the two is that UF should be worse, because it doesn't give move speed and does drain health, except both supposed downsides are handily negated by unholy aura anyway
Necro skeletons shouldn't give experience or gold (or WAY less) then they would be used more and have a purpose. Massing them would still require mass necromancers which still suck so it's not like you could win with an army of skeletons but they would be used more if they were doing anything other than helping the enemy

Critters can randomly block your path during crucial situations
When he was a young kid he was bullied by sheep so he hates them.
Critters have a 0.69% chance to drop an item
I think it's partly due to the fact that the hero can get a small amount of XP from them
