I met Connor during his Fevers & Mirrors tour. His big brother opened up for Bright Eyes. Connor was totally into his brother's music. He was jumping all over the place. Connor had some technical issues with his sampler and got so frustrated. You could tell how passionate he was. God...he was probably 19 or 20 then. About 25 to 30 people in attendance. Kings/Raleigh, NC.
Tapped him on the shoulder at the end of the night to thank him. He was 100% just like the 40+ year old man in this video. Very shy and kind. Hell of a talent and mind. Man...how the time does fly.
i'm glad that her horrible experience with ryan didn't put her off collaborating with others. the album is so good!

His friendship with Phoebe Bridgers (especially after learning Ryan Adams is a predator loser), comes off as so wholesome and sweet and lovely. Checking out her music, its so incredibly impressive, and I have a deeper respect for Mr. Bright Eyes, after emo-scapegoating him as soon as my teenage angst fizzled out. I love their friendship and band.

Both artists are very talented. I love Phoebe's lyrics and amazing voice, but it's hard not to notice how beautiful she is. Phoebe could definitely have a modelling career. She's absolutely stunning.

She definitely uses temporary dye, I think maybe even that newer stuff that you put in and it only lasts a day. She often will streak the fronts blue and it'll be gone the next day in her instastories.

The parallels to the movie "A Star Is Born" are uncanny. You have an older male artist who teams up with a much younger female, collaborates & goes on tour with her. He's depressed & has a plethora of issues. She's an up and coming artist who continually gets more popular & out shines him. The only piece missing is that they aren't dating.
