I've been a flight attendant for about a year and a half and have lived in crash pads the whole time. There are pros and cons to the crash pad life, but I'm so excited to have a more permanent home now!

Absolutely a beautiful apartment, Kacey!! So glad everything is coming together for you. You were speaking of a plant behind your sofa. Having a similar setup, I did a sofa table (some stores call them console tables) with a tall flower arrangement and an indoor, table top water fountain (got them both at Wayfair). Because the table allowed them to sit higher then the sofa, you could clearly see both the flowers and the foundation. It looked very pretty and was always a conversation piece with friends, especially the water fountain, that lit up and showed very nicely after dark. Be blessed and safe flying. 🙏🛫🛬💫

I remember when I got my keys to a newly built house and had to take a Vegas trip immediately the next day. Did the same things buying immediate house stuff at a Vegas Target. I tell people all the time shopping for home while on-travel is one of the finer things too.
The table set matches so good with the cupboards, I'd leave it like they are. It kinda separates the kitchen/dining area from the living room.
Totally outstanding videos Kacey, I watched around 20 of them in the last 2 days, being a flight attendant is a tough life getting up all hours of the night, I am sure that your body doesn't know if its coming or going or if its day or night time. I am worn out just watching your videos lol.

Definitely keep the table it’s original color.
I think some LED Willow twigs will be cute on the side of the couch instead of a plant. You could always put that mirror in on the wall behind the twigs, to make it look bright and bigger from the reflection. Or hang a mini chandelier in front of the mirror.

Your apartment is adorable, I would keep the dining room set as is! If it has a few marks or scratches from just use on it just get some Old English Scratch Cover for dark wood (comes in different colors depending on the color you need) & it will look fabulous! So happy for you on getting your own place, know you will ENJOY that! I can't imagine having to live in crash pads because I am so OCD about things being clean & not having your own bed like most crash pads are...... OMGosh!

LOVE ur new apt!! So cute and it’s a blank slate waiting for your decorative ideas to make it your own! Two small tables on each side of the couch. A couple leafy 🥬 plants behind the couch. The sun is perfect there. Get some pics from where you’ve flown to on the walls. Get a 4K 42” TV with Apple TV, place it on a bureau type piece of furniture with draws for storage and not on the wall. The wires will show. Not good. Those are my ideas. It’s an old vid so I wonder what you did. 😝 lol
The tables look perfect with the color of your cabinets..... I bought leather couches from Ashley furniture that match my cabinets in my kitchen and it looks so nice

Bed looks Gr8 facing window. Dark wood is my favorite so I wouldn't change table. If 2 dark 4 U put bright picture on both walls. My motto Color is R friend. Put those pillows on couch & Pictures that bring U joy on walls @ eye level. Think It'll make U luv ur new home even more 🌷
Great vlog as always! In many trades it is you like or you dont. Some of your class mates have already quit and said that this was not for me. This is for sure you. I can see you doing this for the 30 yrs. At the moment I hope you do not lose your job. All of Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) are laid of 70% Now it is 6 flts a day to ARN and CPH, not 20 like 4 weeks ago. In 10 yrs will say: what is it out there for me? The airline industry is all I know!

Find a sofa table on FB Marketplace to put behind your sofa can decorate with a lamp, flowers, books or statue etc. Also do an end table next to couch. Leave kitchen table color it is cause of wall & cabinet color. Blue pillows are a nice accent & pop of color for couch or bed Love your new apartment

Kacey Cassady yes she is thinking of staying at least a year luckily she started this summer but living there during fall and winter will be challenging , her crashpad right now has 20 people so getting a crashpad with less gals would be great ( so tempting to move to DFW to get her own place ) did you share you crashpad room with someone ? Any recommendations :) she lives in queens right now were everyone seems to live who flies , and I can proudly say she is with your AMAZING airline ✈️💖✈️💖
Cali fornia so when I was in New York I lived in a crash pad that I found on Facebook but I actually had my own room and there were only like five other people in the house. There are so many crash pads in queens I’m sure she could find a great one on Facebook or in the crew rooms there are always flyers!
Girl ... All you have to do is lift up the bed towards the ceiling close the door and then put the bed back down... 😆
