Whether it’s the bars that could’ve been sitting there for a decade or the ones that could’ve only been written in the last week, it’s all hard, it’s all complex, it all applies and it all contributes. So props to Drake for this one.
Seeing my two favorite rappers of this generation goin at it is gonna be legendary. Drake gave a really good response diss especially with having to respond to other artists. I know Kendrick is gonna respond wit some shit tho💯
To me Kendrick can’t go at Drake business wise, when he responds he has to go more at Drake’s character or at his pen game, stuff like that because business wise he can’t compete. In any case I’m so hyped for all this music we are getting, I just hope this stays in the booth.
Michael Jackson sons name is actually Prince as well so there's another layer. You also skipped over the "Drizzy Chip n Dale, probably buy your b* chanel" lyric. Chip N Dale would always beat Pluto in the show so that's another jab at Future which then connects to the "Shit'd probably be different if your BM start to kiss & tell" which is about Futures bm Ciara who has a song called Kiss & Tell - not A$AP & Rihanna although, "if the shoe fits"
Imma give it to Cole keeping it real and on his Thorfinn vibe which is very mature and self-secure a move towards the beef. That being said, I’m still hyped for the competition between these titans of the industry.
i think going soo hard on kdot numbers is not smart because we all know in today's era the best rappers (rap lyric-wise) are not pushing numbers like that.
Idk if its me but i prefer the first beat over the mastered version. Either way I'm getting the popcorn because 2024 is LEGENDARY for hip hop. All my favourites are motivated!!!
The most important point is that "nobody believed drake had a horse in this race." But Drake turned up and seems unfazed by being outnumbered. He wants all the smoke fr.
The Japan line specially hit me hard. Maybe for the US audience they can't fathom how different the perception of their celebrities are worldwide. Yes the majority of them can tour around the globe but how big of a tour it's going to be? Talking to my friends about US hiphop they only know of a handful of people and my own experience in talking with people of my own country (Iran) makes me like this bar that much more.
nah i hate drake but he cooked. personally i think its gonna be a lot of he cooked him and he cooked him but goddamn i was not expecting drake to come back with that shit, i hope the full verse gets released after kendrick responds. kendrick definetly responds by next week tho lol this shit is awesome
I've been around for all the battles since Biggie vs Pac, Eminem and everybody he smoked, Nas vs Jay, 50 vs NY, etc... and this is up there in the rankings...
Drake does go after TPAB. He says he agreed with j Cole saying Kendrick’s shit was boring. “I don’t care what Cole say that Dot shit was weak as fuck”. Plus Drake thought his album was just as good as tpab back in the day when calling out Macklemore.
If 20 dudes don’t like you, it’s probably for a reason. Obviously the top dogs in the industry do not like Drake, and I have a feeling it’s not just because he’s the best seller
Lu and his hyperbole 😂 "We'reached the fucking infinity war of hip hop ...Drake's in the lead". Also Lu last week: "Right now it's 1 J Cole and 0 Kendrick, I'm sorry" 😂 He's learnt nothing 😂
Drake did so many chess moves. Even IF Kendrick comes back with something quick, Drake has already said he’s been holding onto it for years and has been wanting to diss him for the longest 😂
I also picked up on something else, on the hook “Drop and give me 50” you guys said that he was talking about Tog Dawg necessarily close to the hook and it think it also references the incident with Top Dawg KFC robbery against his father, the same story told on DUCKWORTH. So that’s a little cool Easter egg I thought of there.
Whenever people say "oh it's the whole industry vs drake", why does no one mention that spotify is promoting drakes diss? Seems like drake actually has the industry behind him and it's the artists that actually hate him
Respect to Drake for taking on the whole industry but I cannot wait for Kenny to cook him on a solo proper diss track. Hip hop and rap is going to grow so much now and we're all going to witness one of the best wars in music
How to rob is a different story, 50 did that only to get his name heard in the industry, even Jay was happy with it and responded back to him along with Big Pun and Wu Tang in their songs, Piggy Bank is a real diss
Drake's ahead because he brought up top dawg and Kendrick's contract, which I still don't see how that's really a diss that's affective when Kendrick doesn't seem to care about money and has brought it up himself.
That hurts ego... Telling someone big that you don't own your own shit.. That someone takes 50% of what you earn... Like... That shows how weak you are... That someone is taking your hard earned money and you can't do anything.
@@jajassa1Top Dawg is much more prominent of a figure for Kendrick, judging by DUCKWORTH. The fact that he made Dot split 50-50 must feel icky at least
Recency bias. Kendrick put out Like That and it shook the game. In response, Drake waited weeks, then slowly put out low fi unmastered “leaks” to see if everyone liked it before committing to it and saying its official and releasing a completely mastered version. Even with Drake throwing some good shots, Like That hits so much harder. If you think Drake is “in the lead”, you’re delusional, probably the same people that say Views is a classic…
Yeah it’s 1-1 rn but Kendrick not holding back on the reply. He was waiting for this moment This track reminds me a lot pf Takeover, where the main subject matter was talking about Nas’ record contract and replying to all the other rappers who threw shot at Jay. For this Drack, it’s Drake talking about Kendrick’s TDE deal and replying back to all of the other rappers
I seriously can’t wait this shit is the literal definition of over hyped and he doing a lot of reaching 😂 if he didn’t have to respond to 20 ppl I promise you it wouldn’t hit as hard
MMTBS is bigger and better than drakes whole discography Not even gonna mention GKMC, TPAB and DAMN Drake made his name as a pop singer Dude lost all credibility as a rapper when he made hotline bling, toosie slide, one dance… These are NOT HIP HOP SONGS
I want to contribute a fact about hip-hop history. 2Pac released a song titled “Hit ‘Em Up” that targeted several prominent East Coast rappers, including JAY-Z, Nas, and Mobb Deep. Additionally, in his track “Against All Odds” from the album “The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory,” he directly mentioned his rivalry with Nas. I want to clarify that Drake is not the only rapper to have confronted major figures in the industry. It’s important to ensure that we are reporting hip-hop history accurately.

In any case I’m so hyped for all this music we are getting, I just hope this stays in the booth.
no shit a four minuet song beats a minuet feature
but the drake song did go very hard
Dude hes dissing like 6 guys
Cope harder
7 min drill was ass
he had like 7 people to go thru. even ja morant caught a bar😂
Michael Jackson sons name is actually Prince as well so there's another layer.
You also skipped over the
"Drizzy Chip n Dale, probably buy your b* chanel" lyric.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💨💨
Imma give it to Cole keeping it real and on his Thorfinn vibe which is very mature and self-secure a move towards the beef. That being said, I’m still hyped for the competition between these titans of the industry.
bout to wait another 4 years for kendrick to respond
i think going soo hard on kdot numbers is not smart because we all know in today's era the best rappers (rap lyric-wise) are not pushing numbers like that.
You guys really need to apply the same criteria that you used for push ups on euphoria
Idk if its me but i prefer the first beat over the mastered version. Either way I'm getting the popcorn because 2024 is LEGENDARY for hip hop. All my favourites are motivated!!!
same
The most important point is that "nobody believed drake had a horse in this race." But Drake turned up and seems unfazed by being outnumbered. He wants all the smoke fr.
We need a small reaction on Ross record to 😅
Fuck no. Ross did a trash ass diss.
@@ellis7255 😴😴😴
Its cus drake diss is fire what r u smoking@user-to6fy9of9e
@user-to6fy9of9ebc Ross was just capping bro. Beat and flow slapped though
Nah ur funny for this 😂😂😂😂😂w
I've been around for all the battles since Biggie vs Pac, Eminem and everybody he smoked, Nas vs Jay, 50 vs NY, etc... and this is up there in the rankings...
okay i love kendrick but drake came hard in this. “what’s prince to a king, a son” or whatever it was. shit was a bar. hope kendrick comes back hard
No diddy
Thats the only good bar in whole track😭
@@mahkamsaeednope😂
Drake does go after TPAB. He says he agreed with j Cole saying Kendrick’s shit was boring. “I don’t care what Cole say that Dot shit was weak as fuck”. Plus Drake thought his album was just as good as tpab back in the day when calling out Macklemore.
Kendrick is going to murder Drake on his response. Just like Pusha did!!!! AND he mentioned Kendrick’s wife’s name????? Omgggg
Pusha actually lost lyrically and song wise. Only won because of the shock value from outing his son. Kendrick won’t have as much dirt on him
Pusha definitely won.. But Kendrick is a problem
@@Z4NKA1 Push def won. So much so that Drake didn’t even respond.
@@hoc1992 Kendrick has the lyrical ability to end Drake’s career.
@@Z4NKA1and that's only because kanye snitched on him. imagine if kanye never said anything about it.
If 20 dudes don’t like you, it’s probably for a reason. Obviously the top dogs in the industry do not like Drake, and I have a feeling it’s not just because he’s the best seller
Y’all gotta stop just giving the lead to whoever dropped most recently
Thank y’all for giving a complete breakdown with this. Looking forward to the Kendrick response breakdown 🙏🏻
Lu and his hyperbole 😂 "We'reached the fucking infinity war of hip hop ...Drake's in the lead". Also Lu last week: "Right now it's 1 J Cole and 0 Kendrick, I'm sorry" 😂 He's learnt nothing 😂
Dude’s a clown
@@jeanlabath Especially how he's acting like the Like That verse doesn't count. You can't go from 1-up to zero. Not how it works.
That rebuttal on that prince and mike jack was absolutely flawless . Drake went bananas on this
I’m gonna have a heart attack if the kendrick track start with a metro tag
Drake did so many chess moves. Even IF Kendrick comes back with something quick, Drake has already said he’s been holding onto it for years and has been wanting to diss him for the longest 😂
Well well well
I also picked up on something else, on the hook “Drop and give me 50” you guys said that he was talking about Tog Dawg necessarily close to the hook and it think it also references the incident with Top Dawg KFC robbery against his father, the same story told on DUCKWORTH. So that’s a little cool Easter egg I thought of there.
Shit yeah❤😢
Whenever people say "oh it's the whole industry vs drake", why does no one mention that spotify is promoting drakes diss? Seems like drake actually has the industry behind him and it's the artists that actually hate him
Shit wasn’t even released on Spotify so that point is invalid
@@jfraz1992 it's literally on Spotify now
Respect to Drake for taking on the whole industry but I cannot wait for Kenny to cook him on a solo proper diss track. Hip hop and rap is going to grow so much now and we're all going to witness one of the best wars in music
Is “Push-Ups” a reference back to the N95 video too? Drake’s wit is crazy man. That’s extreme attention to detail
Drake fucking cooked. Best diss track I heard in a minute. Let’s not forget about 50 Cent how to rob. Best in the game
How to rob is a different story, 50 did that only to get his name heard in the industry, even Jay was happy with it and responded back to him along with Big Pun and Wu Tang in their songs, Piggy Bank is a real diss
Drake shouldn’t even give them a response. He is the GOAT. They can’t even touch his hits on their best DAY.
Incoming corny comments about ghostwriters after Drake drops a good track🤣
Haha exacty
I loved the vid 🔥🔥
This beef getting crazyyyyy
Drake's ahead because he brought up top dawg and Kendrick's contract, which I still don't see how that's really a diss that's affective when Kendrick doesn't seem to care about money and has brought it up himself.
That hurts ego... Telling someone big that you don't own your own shit.. That someone takes 50% of what you earn... Like... That shows how weak you are... That someone is taking your hard earned money and you can't do anything.
@@mugtilesbut wasn’t drake on the same type of situation with birdman anyway?
@@mugtiles that’s true, but with Kendrick it seems to be about the message. I bet he’s more offended about him saying morale wasn’t good than that
@@jajassa1Top Dawg is much more prominent of a figure for Kendrick, judging by DUCKWORTH. The fact that he made Dot split 50-50 must feel icky at least
If he didn't care about the money, he'd still be at TDE
its funny how drake saying MMATBS is weak when he never dropped anything better then Kendrick's worst album in his life
Kenny doesn't have a single album in their combined top 5
Casual spotted
Recency bias.
Kendrick put out Like That and it shook the game.
In response, Drake waited weeks, then slowly put out low fi unmastered “leaks” to see if everyone liked it before committing to it and saying its official and releasing a completely mastered version.
Even with Drake throwing some good shots, Like That hits so much harder.
If you think Drake is “in the lead”, you’re delusional, probably the same people that say Views is a classic…
This guy calling people delusional 😂😂
How can i be diffrent today
your bias is showing
you really can't even compare the two disses. One is a 40 seconds feature, and the other is 4 minutes
Just wait for the kdot response
That Kenny sh!t better not be ass.
Or else you'll delete this later. 😂
Yeah it’s 1-1 rn but Kendrick not holding back on the reply. He was waiting for this moment
This track reminds me a lot pf Takeover, where the main subject matter was talking about Nas’ record contract and replying to all the other rappers who threw shot at Jay.
For this Drack, it’s Drake talking about Kendrick’s TDE deal and replying back to all of the other rappers
🔥🔥NEXT KENNY DISS FINNA GO CRAZY🔥🔥
I seriously can’t wait this shit is the literal definition of over hyped and he doing a lot of reaching 😂 if he didn’t have to respond to 20 ppl I promise you it wouldn’t hit as hard
Kendrick has the opportunity to drop the most lyrical diss EVER!
@@keezemojito1278 I hope he leave j.cole out of it not gon lie
@@4amkidd j cole already apoligized but lowkey the beef would be any crazier if kenny dissed both of them again, so the apology ment nothing
MMTBS is bigger and better than drakes whole discography
Not even gonna mention GKMC, TPAB and DAMN
Drake made his name as a pop singer
Dude lost all credibility as a rapper when he made hotline bling, toosie slide, one dance…
These are NOT HIP HOP SONGS
"What tf is a price to a king, he a son" 🔥🔥🔥
The thing is, we never know if it was Drake himself who wrote this…
I’m worried if Kendrick kills him in a response Drake is gonna claim it’s AI and backtrack because it’s a “leak”
Lol this one real and it’s not even that tuff
Kendrick isn’t gonna do anything 😂 he’s gonna get fraud checked just like Cole did
Naaa because if Kendrick drops, we’ll just hear from his team to see if it’s real and if it’s real then…. We staying in this war till it’s over
Rick Ross tryna sneak in a hit song that doesn't feature Drake dropping 2 hours after 😭😂
Kendrick will disappear for 2 years then come out with another clout chasing diss verse out of nowhere.
Lololol “Drake is genius cause he’s showing he’s thinking ahead”….cause Kendrick could NEVER think to do that
Imo its not 1v20, its 20v20 if we count Drakes ghostwriters
Corny ASF
Cringe
it’s getting old
😕 U got the whole squad luaghing
Drake fans salty at this comment rn
I never thought I was gonna say this but Drake won this first wave of disses 😅 he cooked
Rick Ross just dropped one of the most forgettable diss tracks off all time.
It’s dooesn’t matter if you are kendrick team or drake these guys saves hip hop in this year
Once again Top Tier analysis from the boyz. Bravo. Let’s hope there’s more in store
