Today I actually went in my yard gathering fir sprigs, dandelions, and pinecones to make a wreath. It's the small things I enjoy so much 💜

Not all angels are purely good ( according to Christianity Satan was an angel and also The angel of death is an angel ). Not all demons are purely evil also. Not all dogs bite. Many pretty flowers are poisonous. We all are creatures with both in us. Some humans are beyond evil. Some witches can be evil too. It all depends on which side you choose to use and see.We just have to get rid of the stigma and not put a stamp on everything. But we are taught for too long what's bad and what's good so we forgot to think for ourselves. 💓

Thank you for this video ! Annie, exactly what I needed! I live In NY and we've been hit really hard with the Coronasvirus. Yesterday I found out a friend passed away from the virus leaving behind a toddler and his wife. Needless, to say I had a pretty bad day. I just recently decided to follow my path into Herbalism and gear towards Green witchcraft. Even did my first circle cast and spell on April's new moon. ( Had to look at my notes several times when casting the circle. However, I did it! Yay! ) Therefore , I've been pretty excited about my new venture and path despite the awfullness that is going on globally. Been doing lots of meditation and spiritual showers. However, yesterday I tried to meditate and the only images that kept pondering in, were of my friend . (Unfortunately, this virus may touch everyones doorsteps, sooner or later.) I can't seem to shake the saddness of his loss. I know will take time to heal. The only positive for me right now is that I've never been so sure of my goals and path I want to take because if this pandemic. I want to educate myself on medicinal herbalism for mind, body and soul. To help others and hopefully make a difference in this world.. So I just really want to say thank you! I know I'm on the right path because the universe is supporting my decision- I find all these clues or items lately that is related to my path including your videos and all the wonderful information within. You're right that it will take time, but try not to bottle any emotions you have, as it will only make healing difficult. Take a moment to really acknowledge and come to terms with his passing. Remember his life (e.g. his achievements, his hopes, his dreams; everything), cry for as long as you need, and then pick yourself up and do something special for yourself.

Thank you so much! I have just begun working with spells after a long research phase and have struggled so much with the idea that spells require something to be spoken out loud. Okay so when I was young(8) me and someone I know would make “potions”out of the earth and then toss them around with intentions ( not knowing what we were doing). Then this girl was mean to us so we got together and held hands (again young) and ask for bad things to happen to her, they did. Moving forward(high school)I really liked this guy so I wrote his name in a locket and said my intention I actually prayed to the Hindu god of love and.... he became my boyfriend that weekend. I’m so conflicted bc I am catholic.
Catholics commonly participate in witchcraft without even knowing. Praying to the saints for aid is actually a type of witchcraft. People pray to Mchael for Protection, Jude for help with impossible cases, St. Expedite for fast money or fast help, Martha for domination over a man, St. Peter to open the roads to success, etc. Holy water, holy oil, burning of incense, cleansing baths with rue, animal sacrifices, the ritual symbolic consumption of the blood of Jesus.... it's all witchcraft. The book of Psalms is all spells and King Solomon is a famous sorcerer and demonologist.

I'm not going to label myself just yet, but I feel so drawn to kitchen witchery and herbalism. I was wondering if you could eventually talk about specific plants/herbs and their meanings, or what plants/herbs you recommend a witch should have in their garden. It would be so informative, but don't feel the need to rush!! There's a lot going on right now, so you take care of yourself first. Keep being lovely!
I love the vast meanings and properties of herbs that can be used in many fashions, however I never knew how each herb received their meaning (example: peppermint for concentration). Where did these meanings come from and how did each herb become dubbed with their respective meaning? My love for learning has the best of me on this, and I am yet to find information on this on my own. I was curious if you perhaps have any knowledge on this front? Thank you in advance! :)
What you'll find is that each herb (as well as crystals and other magical tools and ingrediants) will have many different properties and people aren't going to always agree on what corresponds to what. My personal belief (as my practice is more animistic) is that each plant's sprit will connect with each person differently, and will help with different things according to the individual (both the individual witch and the individual plant). This means a certain amount of communing with the spirits of the plants you wish to use in your craft is needed; asking them what they can be used for and if they are willing to help you. This is just my opinion though, it's definitely not the only answer to your question!
I have fir branches in vases in various spots in my home. Bedside table, altar, kitchen bench etc. I’m going to collect some more to hang above my bed and to decorate my door wreath. I live in a forest so there’s plenty here. 💚 I’ve done shaker jars before but not like your one, I have those herbs so I will give it a whirl Thank you 🙏🏻

Hi, baby witch-curious child here. I have a question. I’ve never practiced because I’m worried I would do so many things wrong. So I’m just reading into it Right now. When crafting shaker jars or practicing spells and making potions, I’ve always wondered how you dispose of your used ingredients or materials. Like how long does a shaker jar or a pouch last for? How do you dispose of your ingredients used in a cauldron. I’m worried I’d do this the wrong way but there’s nothing I’ve read that teaches me this. Earth/ Green witch here. An idea for what to do with leftovers from your workings, ie spells, potions, cooking, is to recycle your materials back to the Earth as stargirl mentioned. Since I garden, I have a compost area designated for left over workings. I love doing it this way as it just feels wrong to throw the earthly gifts into the trash headed for the landfill. So for example, I use a lot of herbs in my practice and if I have left over clippings, they go in the compost or I'll release them into the wind like rose petals, powders, etc. All being positive of course. A compost will nourish and feed the soil to create a lush and beautiful garden for next year and in this way, I feel that the magik is also renewed, refreshed, and strong. I also try to use natural products so anything that can't be composted or would take a long time to decompose, I send back to the sky through fire. Sort of like sending the magik into the universe to be used again, for someone else, or to just be. Hope this helps a little.

So I have a question for the herbs. Could you use herbs from tea bags? I know their probably not as pure, but I'm due to momentary situation on a tight budget but would need some calming and protecting magic in my life!
Absolutely! They are still herbs even if they are dried out and put in bags. I usually dont have things like peppermint on hand so I just rip open a tea bag if necessary. Just remember, your spells dont have to be spot on with herbs and crystals. As long as your intent is strong and you feel right about what you are doing its okay to not have a certain herb on hand! this is so beautiful. I recently harvested some fallen fur branches from our local woodlands behind our home in Devon in UK. I made the sprigs into a homemade stick to burn for sacred smoke. It is beautiful and feels really purifying and cleansing as well as protective. I love this video so much. Hopefully I can try my best to learn how to visualize my wish on what I want because practice is worth trying to learn but it takes time so I will be slow and steady like a turtle that is willing to understand patience like many spiritual monks I have respect for always. Okay so when I was young(8) me and someone I know would make “potions”out of the earth and then toss them around with intentions ( not knowing what we were doing). Then this girl was mean to us so we got together and held hands (again young) and ask for bad things to happen to her, they did. Moving forward(high school)I really liked this guy so I wrote his name in a locket and said my intention I actually prayed to the Hindu god of love and.... he became my boyfriend that weekend. I’m so conflicted bc I am catholic.
Catholics commonly participate in witchcraft without even knowing. Praying to the saints for aid is actually a type of witchcraft. People pray to Mchael for Protection, Jude for help with impossible cases, St. Expedite for fast money or fast help, Martha for domination over a man, St. Peter to open the roads to success, etc. Holy water, holy oil, burning of incense, cleansing baths with rue, animal sacrifices, the ritual symbolic consumption of the blood of Jesus.... it's all witchcraft. The book of Psalms is all spells and King Solomon is a famous sorcerer and demonologist.

I'm not going to label myself just yet, but I feel so drawn to kitchen witchery and herbalism. I was wondering if you could eventually talk about specific plants/herbs and their meanings, or what plants/herbs you recommend a witch should have in their garden. It would be so informative, but don't feel the need to rush!! There's a lot going on right now, so you take care of yourself first. Keep being lovely!
I love the vast meanings and properties of herbs that can be used in many fashions, however I never knew how each herb received their meaning (example: peppermint for concentration). Where did these meanings come from and how did each herb become dubbed with their respective meaning? My love for learning has the best of me on this, and I am yet to find information on this on my own. I was curious if you perhaps have any knowledge on this front? Thank you in advance! :)

What you'll find is that each herb (as well as crystals and other magical tools and ingrediants) will have many different properties and people aren't going to always agree on what corresponds to what. My personal belief (as my practice is more animistic) is that each plant's sprit will connect with each person differently, and will help with different things according to the individual (both the individual witch and the individual plant). This means a certain amount of communing with the spirits of the plants you wish to use in your craft is needed; asking them what they can be used for and if they are willing to help you. This is just my opinion though, it's definitely not the only answer to your question!

I have fir branches in vases in various spots in my home. Bedside table, altar, kitchen bench etc. I’m going to collect some more to hang above my bed and to decorate my door wreath. I live in a forest so there’s plenty here. 💚 I’ve done shaker jars before but not like your one, I have those herbs so I will give it a whirl Thank you 🙏🏻

Hi, baby witch-curious child here. I have a question. I’ve never practiced because I’m worried I would do so many things wrong. So I’m just reading into it Right now. When crafting shaker jars or practicing spells and making potions, I’ve always wondered how you dispose of your used ingredients or materials. Like how long does a shaker jar or a pouch last for? How do you dispose of your ingredients used in a cauldron. I’m worried I’d do this the wrong way but there’s nothing I’ve read that teaches me this.

Earth/ Green witch here. An idea for what to do with leftovers from your workings, ie spells, potions, cooking, is to recycle your materials back to the Earth as stargirl mentioned. Since I garden, I have a compost area designated for left over workings. I love doing it this way as it just feels wrong to throw the earthly gifts into the trash headed for the landfill. So for example, I use a lot of herbs in my practice and if I have left over clippings, they go in the compost or I'll release them into the wind like rose petals, powders, etc. All being positive of course. A compost will nourish and feed the soil to create a lush and beautiful garden for next year and in this way, I feel that the magik is also renewed, refreshed, and strong. I also try to use natural products so anything that can't be composted or would take a long time to decompose, I send back to the sky through fire. Sort of like sending the magik into the universe to be used again, for someone else, or to just be. Hope this helps a little.

Absolutely! They are still herbs even if they are dried out and put in bags. I usually dont have things like peppermint on hand so I just rip open a tea bag if necessary. Just remember, your spells dont have to be spot on with herbs and crystals. As long as your intent is strong and you feel right about what you are doing its okay to not have a certain herb on hand! this is so beautiful. I recently harvested some fallen fur branches from our local woodlands behind our home in Devon in UK. I made the sprigs into a homemade stick to burn for sacred smoke. It is beautiful and feels really purifying and cleansing as well as protective. I love this video so much.
