Just watched Sunday Brunch on Channel 4. Previous Head Judge Len Goodman said this was his favourite dance of the night and said he would have given it a 10. I so respect his opinion as a ballroom dancer. Great to hear this independent feedback

They saved the best for last. It was sensational. Flawless technique, very,very intricate choreography and fabulous performance value and characterization. It was really sweet and mesmerizing at the same time. A 10.

As always brilliant, Alexander deserves to win Strictly 2017, in my opinion she is the most talented dancer and seems a lovely, genuine person.

Terrific energy and the best swivel action of any Charleston in this or most other seasons. What's not to like? Maybe her costume which I'm not sure I would see Mary Poppins wearing.! Minor point and not her fault.
Usually think the singers are excellent but was this the first time they'd performed this? Sounded so messy!

I have never seen this much drama/ gossip like Alexandra is dealing with.. her career, her personal life, her relationships, even what she eats and wears is in the tabloids. Is it really nice to break a person for being human?? we ALL have nice and annoying parts in our characters but it doesnt make us bad or deserve hate... im just shocked from what I see and read, really gets me thinking... but just remember ‘what goes around comes around’ ... putting her true talent to aside its sad to see whats going on
I agree. She’s not my favourite this year but I do feel very sorry for her for the garbage that the Daily Mail and their readers say about her. The girl just lost her mum for crying out loud, people should have some bloody respect! And theh have the decency to say she is using the sympathy vote, I’m sure they wouldn’t be able to hold it together if they were in her shoes....

Did not love the theme but loved this. Wonderful swivel, good speed, good content and timing. Every week she is great and has never ever had a bad performance imo. It just needed a little bit more fizz but other than that it was fabulous :) and she is in the final 99%. 9
Alex fans, it is time to rally around her. We are all glad she was able to beat elimination AGAIN, even though we know she did not deserve it as usual. Let us all do our bit to make sure it doesn't happen again. This is what we all need to do.....POWER VOTE! Register as many email accounts on BBC website and vote as many times as possible using all these accounts and phone vote too. Spread the word on all other social media sites. Other fans are doing it and Alex's fans got too complacent. She has the fans, we just need to band together and vote like our lives depend on it.

Fair enough we all can’t like the same people but some keyboard bullies just cannot help themselves and rush to spew such pointless nastiness about her...I saw a comment on Facebook calling her a stuck up ugly cow! and when I asked the sender why they felt the need to be so cruel and personal about someone they haven’t even met...I was told to butt out as it was their opinion and hadn’t I heard of freedom of speech!! Another great performance. The problem with celebs who start out great from week one is that other contestants who grow week-on-week become more interesting as the marathon goes on. Joe is really interesting now and even Mollie is growing each week!

I thought is was fantastic but I don't know anything about dance, just know what I love....I LOVE THIS.
I've noticed that British people do not like anyone who is honest about wanting to win. Maybe they find it unseemly, but it is what makes exceptional people what they are. It is what top athletes are trained to do - visualise winning, proclaim it and leave everything on the field. Yes Alex is sometimes over the top, but I find nothing wrong with her ambition, particularly because she works SO HARD.
Belle Couleur Mollie has achieved the record for practicing the most number of hours but somehow pulls of the self effacing oh I am just here to do my best thing. If anyone is desperate to win it really is every single one of them. They come across to me as determined and competitive as each other. As for Joe keeping quiet about his roles in Rent and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang every time someone says you have never danced. He must be howling with laughter inside. Game Plan! Who can blame him

lorna, SCD is a 'white' show with a low BAME fan base unlike X Factor which is much more diverse and inclusive in EVERY way. Come on, what do you expect from the world of Ballroom! However, even I am surprised at the level of hatred Alex is getting especially given the death of her Mother. The booting off of the talented Aton and keeping in of the 'improving' Mollie was a shock. Ah well, it's all part of post brexit England where we can get to 'boot out' all those foreigners. So much for British values of 'fair play.' I'm back to X factor next season where as a Black woman I definitely feel more represented and welcome- as was Alexandra. I suggest all BME viewers should refuse to watch and BME celebs take part. Now that would make SCD viewers happy, wouldn't it? Simply calling out everyday racisms.

of all the talent shows on television at the moment, there is not one single participant that has had the horrible treatment that Alexandra Burke has had. This is mainly down to jealous bullies and rag newspapers like the sun printing absolute rubbish that sadly some of the naive British public believe. I am disgusting by some of the things that people are saying about Alex, what's wrong with you all? why all the hate? This lady is trying to win a dancing competition, she has not committed any crime. yes you can dislike someone, that is your prerogative, but you can do it without all the hate and hurtful comments. Alexandra Burke is no Diva and is one of the most genuinely lovely and down to earth people I have ever had the pleasure and privilege to meet. do not believe all the rubbish that is printed in the papers; take Alexandra for what she is, a lovely lady trying to win a dancing competition for her and her mum.

I wonder in Gorka will come back next year after this mess.. can't be nice for him either. During one of the other couples dances he was smiling but through gritted teeth... maybe it was Joe and Katya's - didn't get the fuss about them myself either, very messy and not at all a Samba. I get the impression he's sick of the negativity.
Don't understand this at all. So many of the people getting upset on her behalf sound truly deranged. Strictly is a pretty even split between talent show and personality contest. People watching the show are completely entitled to dislike the celebrities. And don't forget that they are 'celebrities'. They get paid to entertain people but they don't have an automatic right to be liked.
Everyone needs to clam down and just enjoy Strictly for what it is.

Alexandra is a Singer, she is not trained to dance. Besides, there are a lot of dances, just because you can dance dancehall doesn't mean you can be a ballet dancer. I just feel people should be judged on how good they are and not what you think you know of them. The show would have vetted them already and seen them to be the appropriate candidates for that particular season. Nicole Scherzinger was there she won and no one said anything, she was in Pussy Cat dolls, so my question still stands. Why?

I nearly cried when the lights when red over them tonight I definitely think the did not deserve to be in the dance off. They were against David and Nadia. I am really starting to think strictly come dancing is a fix two of the best dancers in the show in the dance of. It made me so mad. Let me know what you think do you think it's a fix.

When I watch these I often wonder if certain judges are the experts they tell us they are. There’s far too much favouritism. Alexandra is a far better dancer than Debbie. But she’s constantly marked lower.
