Every time I see something this extraordinary lady does, my respect and admiration for her increases again. How many other musicians can you say that about? Understanding and caring about other things beyond your own world is what gives music it's depth and ability to reach people on levels that maybe they aren't consciously aware of, but they know it's there just the same. Emmylou Harris has been consistently rearranging the furniture in my head for half a century. If I could only say one thing to her, it would have to be "Thank you."
