- What a fantastic morning at the allotment! It's hard not to feel incredibly proud of what the garden has given us. We've got some beautiful, large cauliflower heads, yellow Soleil courgettes, and a huge pile of runner beans and peas!
I also found a couple of plums and some rainbow chard with stunning rainbow stalks-just gorgeous. A few beetroots were also ready, perfect for roasting or pickling, and some spinach and leafy greens to top it all off.
This is what it’s all about - growing your own, knowing exactly where your food comes from, and enjoying the fruits of your labour. So, if you’re into gardening or even just thinking about starting an allotment, join me as we celebrate this lovely harvest and explore all the joy of growing at home!

Fantastic cauliflower harvest. The rest of the crop was amazing too. I think it proves that the winter veg need more water than we give them . Well done Chris
Your cauliflowers look like beautiful bridal bouquets. Amazing! You're right to be proud of them 😊
Those Cauliflowers look amazing and so little slug damage.
I've never grown cauliflowers that big!
Well Chris you have certainly still got loads in the go when most people including me are putting things to bed. It’s gone very cold here now so most things except brassicas and spinach have died off. Have a superb week ahead, Ali 🌞🥶🇨🇦
Fantastic harvest I received my veggie plot record book today love it and would highly recommend it, happy gardening 🧑🌾
They are so good
You should be chuffed!
Finding your videos useful learning lots thanks 😊
We had a frost in the first week of September on East Coast of Ireland. It killed my courgette plants. They were my second planting. The first planting were demolished by cattle that broke into my field. What a season😮
Superb harvest, Chris. I've also not had any success with the "all year round" variety. The F1 is the winner....pity it's an F1, but gosh, the quality of harvest is amazing 👏 👌😀
Wonderful harvest 🤩
Fantastic harvest,👏 I think you need a bigger basket now😂
I would definitely go on and on about the cauliflower if I had grown those! I never can get them to the finish line.
Love the golden beets. Have a last succession of beets and hoping they will come before the frosts.
My last Lucid Gems on the vine are almost entirely purple. Because I exposed more to the sun to get them to finish up.
Nice harvest!!!
Excellent harvest in 16yr of growing great cauliflowers this year has been the worst did 2 different varieties to what i've grown for the last few years thought I'd have a change lesson learned stick to what grows best for you , strange thing was top half of the bed wasn't to bad different variety on the end of the bed rubbish 👍
That's a fantastic harvest and most of my crops either failed or went to seed and only the beans did well this year.
Hi Chris. What a lovely harvest. The caulis are exceptional. Did you say you were giving a plot up? Elaine 🌱
Magnificent cauliflower! 😊
wow for the cauliflowers nice ... what do you with your beetroot ?
Fabulous harvest, Chris! You need a bigger freezer!!😂
Are you going to rate your top ten tomatoes
Definitely you need bigger basket 😂.
Well done
By the way, when did you sow them cauliflowers?
😂 Definitely. I'll get my record books and let you know... I think I left them at work!

Love to Richard but my better half says we need to pay for them first 😂. Happy to sell you one... signed too, if you like.
What on earth will you do with all those Cauliflowers.
I've already chopped, bagged, frozen and given to neighbours. The freezers are officially full 😂

Well it is some great recipes.
We will mix them with bell pepper, carrot, bit of celery in the jar and preserve it for the winter.
Really nice salad
