- Today, we're making a DIY BUDGET R/C RTV Ghost Trap from the new movie, Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The kicker is we're going to make it for UNDER $100 and in less than 4 hours AND YOU CAN TOO!
One of my most favorite parts of the new movie is all the modified old tech and one of my favorites is the remote controlled RTV Ghost Trap. As soon as I saw it, I just KNEW I had to have one! I hope you guys enjoy this speed build and let me know if you have any questions!

Loved the video......i used the walmart exclusive trap with the foot pedal from a couple years ago.....cut the foot pedal off and used a key fob to open and close the trap while driving....took it to the premiere of frozen empire....thanks to your video for the cost effective set up!

There's no way it's that easy. It's incredible! I'm definitely gonna have to do this! The ONLY thing that would make it perfect is if someone made a mod for this that could make the trap door open remotely
There's definitely more extensive mods but like you said it's THAT easy and exactly what I was going for. I am looking to add a remote smoke machine to this one 😂 😈

@@mehboi8580 that motor axle just screws off so you can then access those 2 squares where I put the wood screws in..need to take the axle off first though. 2:54 is a quick shot of the unscrewing. Let me know if this makes sense!

What else did you do besides taking out the screws?
@@mehboi8580 the other clips on the top side are push pin clips..if you can't pop it off, use a flat head and push the inner most prong to the outer most and push down..do that on both sides..
And how the trap opens??😊

Hey there! It's the 1/15 one. This is the EXACT one I got amzn.to/3qU1BxJ Looking at the website, it looks like the manufacturer did a design refresh on those particular Grave Digger trucks carried on Target's website. Could be worth a shot to check your local store. Hope this helps!
Uhhh trey the wheels on the rtv ghost trap has silver inside the wheels and the red is just a circle ⭕ like that emoji but it's ok👍

Last time I went to a movie was 2 yrs ago New Years Eve at our Regal. They fixed it up here and it has become a waste of money for me to go. All I did was sleep. Seats recline and are too damn comfy now! 😹🤦♀️🤷♀️ I think I will wait til it comes out on dvd. Is it as good as the 1st one?
HAHAHAAA this is great! The audacity of them!! In all honesty, I've been waiting for this movie since I was a kid (like many others) & I absolutely loved it. It hit every mark for me.
Inflation struck hard since this video came out. The RC car now retails at $40 at target, the trap costs $50, the two flashlights are $25, plus extra for the paint and zip ties. It now costs well over $100 to build this device 😔
