@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I still vividly remember his grand keyboard solo on the Eclipse tour 1990, Edinburgh Playhouse. Powerful, gothic and technical. Such a sad loss.
It would have been better if Yngwie and the Band just played it as an Instrumental because Goran Edman ruined if for me. Listen to the 1989 " Live in Lenningrad Trial By Fire" with Joe Lynn Turner and you'll hear the difference.
@Levis Strauss Most of the stuff on Trial By Fire was re-recorded in the studio, at the very least vocals and guitars as you mentioned. I also agree with Gøran vs JLT, Gøran sounded great in the studio, but he didn't have the proper control of his voice live, causing him to miss the mark often.
Rip Mats Olausson. You are missed, great and talented musician. 😔
RIP Mats Olausson
Ohh THAT BEND at 1:51!!! He will never do it again!!! Great player

They were both great singers and had their own styles which complimented the Rising Force

He has a large collection of Strats
Is it on one of his videos where he shows some of his collection?
They are all still doing stuff. Google him.
Goran Edman has no stage presence
When you share the stage with Yngwie of all people, that's hardly a negative.
True..Goran always looks like he doesnt belong to the stage.Only Jeff Scott Soto knows how to presence and deal with Yngwie..He's great!
