Not sure currently but Los Angeles metro had these on the rapid routes. Used to be on the Orange and Silver line. Foothill Transit currently has 2900s Excelsior 60 ft on the silver streak. They replaced the 2010 60 ft NABI BRT 1600S . Only exception occasionally we use the 3000s Dennison Electric Double Decker. SCRTD was the first outside of London to use Neoplan Skyline Double Decker 9900s 1979-1986. In 1986 a arsonist burned the 9900s in Pomona CA Yard Division 16 I believe Mission Blvd and East end across from the current Foothill Transit. 9900s never made it to LACMTA METRO BUS. For 30 years no one used double Decker until Foothill Transit.

My Dad was Los Angeles MTA and SCRTD driver 484 Los Angeles Grand avenue and Venice Blvd to Pomona via Valley Blvd

They cut off the 195/291/480 on foothill Transit. Ride the bus you'll see it.

@@teknolym7881 you can only replace the non articulated bus which is the XD40, the articulated one like the XD60 is addon only because you have to attach the back like a trailer
