So exciting to stumble on TH-cam miracles like this young lady who loves art song and sings with such beauty and ease. Am a baritone who sang most exclusively lieder and melodies and I remember all the wonderful masters classes as a young singer. I hear a little bit of Ileana Cotrubas in her voice especially at the top. Cotrubas was a very sensitive Romanian soprano whom you might want to listen to. Of course Lisette Oropesa is a fantastic singer and teacher.
Mandie you have a gift from god to move people with your pure voice. Keep doing what you love and make the world beautiful ❤️

Oh wow Madie... this is the most exciting video I have watched this year... and wow again, I don’t know if I ever heard you sing an aria sounding so awesome. I am going to watch it again and bookmark to review at intervals... I made a note.. “ oh wow, what do you do at 3.40 😃... change pitches so sunbelt, it was beautiful.. I didn’t rewatch yet, I just had to come and comment. But this is the phrase you worked on? and I so know about that vowel that can open up at the back...

Yes!!! I love Vocal Pedagogy, and would be open to studying that, but I also love performance, and really want to study opera/oratorio!!! Plan to audition in spring and start in the fall of 2021. Thank you for your comment!!!
