I love a clean car and think im abit obsessed with cleaning my car but who really has all that time to go into so much detail to drive down the road and get dirty again.
If you machine polish properly it'll look much better after washing if properly protected, no swirl marks much better gloss etc. Plus it's a hobby as you said most people who go to this depth enjoy it so who cares... Even if it gets dirty down the road it'll still look better than 99.9% of cars about
C63 Bez No I understand people like different things i have 2019 golf r an 2017 A45 both have gardx protection something i got done free when buying the cars new i have them washed clayed i never polish but still gets dirty quick
@@shahibshah5295 big difference on getting dirty and letting the clear get contaminated. if you got protection its easier to clean and maintain but even the best ceramic coating needs refreshing or upkeep after 12 months. Clay will also wear down the hydrophobic properties faster so you might want to clay less often as its recommended to only clay before doing polishing or glaze.
Need to turn the contrast/viginette back to normal so I can see half of what's going on but other than that the video was well made

Why would you put a sealant on (aqua coat) then do tar removal, clay and then polish it all off?
