    • @mervolicious
      @mervolicious 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GS-xw2nm He's not that wrong. There are at least 4 people working on the car (sometimes even more) and it took seven days to finish the job. This equals 4.5 hours a day per worker. I've detailed Porsches (classic and newer models) and did a 3 layer Zaino coating on them in 2.5 days with two workers (one for the outside, one for the interior). We restored classic Porsches to show room standards in 2.5 days - so as much as I appreciate this perfect job (it was fun to watch and the result is stunning), I think they did take their time for a 500 miles car. This could have been done with less people in less time.
      Edit: Oh, and they didn't even get rid of the orange peel which isn't that hard on a soft Porsche lacquer and since they are lacquered pretty thickly, it is not even unsafe to do so.

    This is surely 180 hours including the 40.hour work week between 4 people theres no way 180 hours of detailing was done here. Can someone please tell me

    • @FitnessPlanB
      @FitnessPlanB 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a one day job or less. Without the ceramic coating, it's a 6-8 hour job max with a crew. Real ones know!

    • @tmills721
      @tmills721 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Exactly. Detailed in a day, then they gave the shop hand some white gloves and qtips and let him have at it, lol. I know what my shop rate was for details (extremely filthy cars and high ends). That would be a $6000+ job.

    • @PCVALETGLA
      @PCVALETGLA 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is too much deception in this business. I am going to be doing cars like this in my own unit one day minus the bullshitting that comes with a claim of 180 hours graft 😂 could do 10 cars in that space of time

    • @TheOriginalUberGoober
      @TheOriginalUberGoober 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Owner got scammed. Paid $10,000 for a detail that’s worth maybe $4,000 if you include the ceramic coating.

    What adds character to a cool car is the story and memories it’s shared, given or had. The only memory this will have is having a low mileage and washed to death. Poor car if it had a soul (as they indeed do) is probably crying asking why o why me, I’d love to hit dirt high speed have fun instead I get bathed like I don’t have anything better to do. Shame Porsche need to be driven, loads of things dying in this car with no use. Shame, big shame, feel sad for the car. But good job to the guys making the car look beautiful no denying that effort.
