So fascinating, Beki, to see how you annotate your books! You’re so organised with all the different colours! I only keep a notebook with favourite quotes, but I have a separate journal for recording every book I read in the year 😊📚
I've tried different annotation styles, but I've never been able to get into it. I've tried to keep a notebook with notes/quotes on books I read, underlining my books, putting sticky notes inside, etc., but nothing has ever stuck. Maybe someday I'll get into annotating!
I plan on annotating my first book this month, I'll be working on The Princess Bride by William Goldman (which is my favorite fiction book). I'm going to be highlighting: favorite lines, funny quotes, romantic lines, etc. And I'm happy to find out that your a Christian 🥰. That's why I started a book channel to bring Christian and clean books to youtube.
Oh lovely! Hope you´ll have a great time with that book. I´ve seen the movie years ago but still haven´t had a chance to read it. Thank you very much, so glad oyu are here 🥰 defnitely will come to your channel as well!
I don't annotate, I haven't even been good at it at school where it would have been helpful. I think it can be interesting on a reread to see your previous thoughts, but it's just not worth the time for me. :)
I've tried annotating, but I just can't figure out how or why, LOL! I might just highlight a good quote or something. When I was doing my videos on Great Expectations, I actually left myself notes in the book. But some books I read too fast to leave notes in them, LOL
I started to use tabs for the quotes I like because I need them to write my reviews. XD I'm such a quote lover and that sometimes leads to hedgehog books. *lol* I could never write into the books though, not even if they are mine. I just love my books the way they are and would feel like I'm hurting them if I'd write into them. 😂

This was such a great idea! I love seeing how others annotate. I basically just use tabs on passages I like and that is it 😂

Your video is so wholesome and informative! I need tips on annotating but especially, nonfiction books! Thank you so much for sharing your methods.♥️

I see. Yeah that's a good point. I think it's important to actually like annotating.😊
