Can be tough to survive due to politics and shite. The placements are really weak for core branch,CSE/IT companies don't visit much. And even if they did.. the package ain't really satisfactory compared to Tier 2 colleges. The students has to do all the heavy-lifting for the placements at off-campus and college takes the credits and advertise it all loud which is a red flag to me. Rather asking him,why don't you ask the recent passout batch of ITER on college reviews websites,they know more about the college 🤷 You will have some clarity and prioritise your needs for your college
