Call upon the champion of magic, Shazam!
Bolt of Zeus [Combat Ability]
Fires a chaining lightning bolt that damages and Electrifies enemies and heals allies. Chains to up to 4 targets.
At Max Affinity Level: (10) +403% damage, 60% heal
The Power of Shazamily [Passive Ability]
Calling down an ally gives a percentage boost to Might and Precision for 30 seconds.
At Max Affinity Level: (10) +6% Might, +3% Precision
Purity of Heart [Passive Ability] [Healer Role]
Using a weapon attack gives a Restoration boost of 1% that stacks up to a max. The stack goes away once a priority or group heal is cast. Cooldown: 0.5 seconds.
At Max Affinity Level: (10) Max Stacks: 25

Superman Ally Passive Support 2, the Channeling one can be useful, for Single Target, many use their finisher as it allows you to get your finisher off and not be interrupted, and not have to use empowered channeling in your hands and drop max damage because of it.
Glad I only maxed superman on my tank
The damage doesn't show correctly in the DCUO Log Analyzer. It only shows the damage done by the first Bolt of Zeus and not the ones that arc to other enemies making it a pain to get a handle on whether its worth the huge amount of ally favour.
Finally a ally that can DPS for me 😂😂
Is Shazam worth to level him as a gadgets dps? I mean u surely have to use cyborg for power regen and BWL but Shazam seems really good because of his passives and his damage of course.

Does anyone know if Shazam weapon attack restoration stacking mechanic work with water tsunami strikes? Or only weapons?

I just started my 1st real Hero character after 12 years and going all the way with his build like my main DPS. I watch your previous allies test including Shazam and was wondering is that still the way to go for what I list below, thank you for your time. With all that said here is my layout/questions:
1.)Role/Power/Set up
Prec Rage DPS
2.) Arts
A.) Trans
B.) Strat
C.) Neo Venom Wrist
3.) Allies
A.) Combat Single:Krypto/AOE: Cyborg/Shazam
B.) Passive 1: Batman who Laughs LotD
C.) Passive 2: Shazam for Might&Prec
D.) Passive 2b: Cyborg is power an issue and Shazam is Combat
Something tells me you got this build from Dead Sea scrolls gaming haha. Could be wrong, but ngl this build is an absolute monster. I’ve officially ended up making my rage prec my main now and im working on getting my cr, sp and arts levelled up. Getting max states with this build you’d have a high chance of doing more dmg than gag and elec prec.
@iCrazyGoMo Actually no, my spec, arts and allies are my idea but I did get the load out changed up on TH-cam absolutely

Awesome video, super strong! Hey OC, it says at the bottom of the description in the Cyborg Vendor that it's redeemable for every character on your account for the 500 sm. That has to be a bug right?
if you bought it from the marketplace you can redeem the allies on multiple accounts for free but if you buy it from the vendor you'd have to rebuy it for the 500sm on each toon

@@jordantherock8880 The description is CONVENMIENTLY wrong on more than just one ally! Even AFTER the problem has been reported to support!
You will still want the DPS passive for boss fights, especially if it's mostly single target damage.

Thank you for crunching the numbers and seeing he's better than superman. Wish i knew this 4 days ago when my league leader told me to get superman. Wasted a ton of resources. Whats the fastest way to get ally xp?
Besides buying it from the marketplace not much just outside of general playtime. You can buy some from the Dr. Fate vendor but that isn't the best value for what it costs
Thank you for the info I did not see the reply until reviewing the video a second time. I also noticed how atrocious my grammar and spelling was so I had to correct the first original comment. The main reason I went to see this video a second time is because I wanted to know if I was the only one having an issue where once you summon the Shazam for combat ability, sometimes he just stands there for about 3 or 4 seconds before attacking and by that time all of your teammates and yourself have already done so much intense damage that he has nothing left to do. Other times if you don't attack with any of your powers, he does absolutely nothing It just vanshes.
Question, what are we doing with all the allies that we have that we don’t use? it should be a way that we can get experience from it!!

you can use passive for boss dmg, it's still helpful for sure
My might is 188k will Shazam it goes to 203k totally get it

Daybreak never nerf they make it worse for the pvp, they upped the demon fang
How's that possible considering Superman gives you 448%+ damage at maximum level whilst Shazam gives you 403%+? Can anyone explain this to me?
other factors go into that dmg calculation like with shazam's damage arcing to other targets where superman is just a basic aoe freezing breath
I dont see the point of having it as a heal ally if using a group or prio heal resets its benefits? Maybe only water where it’s all shields + clarion but for other powers how could it be beneficial by not using a group or prio heal?
The Purity of Heart Support 2 for Shazam Ally has some pros and cons. It’s not well explained, but it’s designed to buff your restoration for a sustained period of time attempting to decrease the need to to hit a priority or group heal as much. In turn, you’re more reliant on your Heal over Time but your HOTs will hit harder due to the buff from Ally Shazam Support 2 ability and you’re more reliant on shields to refrain from hitting a group heal or priority heal. However, if you’re a healer using Purple Healing Ray, Orb of Orion or Page of Destiny then, no, Ally Shazam’s support 2 ability will not benefit you as those arts are dependent on using a group heal or priority heal. Which in turn means now you’re limited on usage of healer arts
@@kendallfleming5858 To add onto this. I've been using it extensively as Electricity, Celestial, and a tiny bit with Nature. Transformation Card is going to be a big benefit to this playstyle.
@@ravKenclaw Yes transformation card is very versatile, as a dps, full resto healer and even as a battle healer.
Will the restoration buff stack with clarion demons fang and other arts that increase dmg as restoration goes up, planning on a sorcery heal pvp load out focused on precision?

Even as a healer?
As an AOE damage, Shazam is definitely worth it, not for Single 🎯 damage! However, for battle Healer both passives are viable options. At rank 10, for Battle Healer outside of Celestial battle healer which is an outlier, the Shazamly passive is really good and the The Purity of Heart is good is you understand how it works. As a battle healer, passive 2 for Shazam is great because you buff resto indefinitely until you hit a priority or group heal. I admit, 💦 battle healer benefits most because of shield options. Furthermore, support 2 for Shazam works and stacks with demon fang and Clarion Artifacts

the healer and dps passives are just as good, but not good enough to run it over the aoe damage at the moment

I would personally level Shazam, because his passives and dmg are good and Black Adam's aren't as helpful

@@julian_morana0948 if you are doing aoe damage you'll want to use Shazam. For boss fights or if you a re healing at all etc then use the Passive

the dev could technically say its balanced cause its so weak in ST but we'll have to wait and see for sure
@ObsidianChillDCUO I would really be surprised if it wasn't. I think the passive is a must for ST especially on powers like electric might where you need any help you can get lol
