He is hanging in there. I give him medicine for hypothyrodism and high blood preasure twice a day... He is feeling good and is very lovable. :) Thanks Gavin! Lars

I know. It was fun to see her float. Great looking boat if you ask me. The boat will be fitted with the original keel. I hope to pick it up either this coming weekend or next weekend. I will also put together the Norlin 12mR. :) Loads of stuff going on in the shed... ;)

Looks amazing on the water! How would the carbon fiber tubes react to being bent backwards while glued? (as if there was mast pre-bend) Trying to make a carbon mast out of two tubes glued together so that one crates the sail groove like you said, but with backwards angled spreaders for curve.

That is a good question. My experience with gluing the carbon tubes together is that it's hard enough to to do without pre bend, but I'm sure it can be done if one wanted to have pre bend. My masts are so tall, that they bend (more than I want them too) in heavier breeze. I have been using a carbon fiber sock over the two cabon tubes, to further stiffen the mast. I think you need a male and female fixture to be able to glue the carbon tubes with a pre-bend, just never thought about it before. Thanks, Lars
