Hope you guys like it. It costed me a lot to make this video too 😁 Remember all songs used and else is on the description. The best TEST level is MECHTESTSYS1 at 43:09. It might have revealed new LEGO games that would come in a near future 👀
12:45 In all TT LEGO games before TSS, you would enter cheat codes into a panel in a physical location in the game, rather than through the pause menu. So I'm guessing that the room's purpose was exactly what it says on the tin.
39:42 best moment in the entire video. you knocked it out of the park once again linterni!! it's crazy how much unused content from the older games there is in these maps
To me i feel like Mechtestsys isn't necessarily what games are coming but instead was intended to ensure that the new engine was able to do all the mechanics that the old one could do. Hence why almost every mechanic tested is just ported from previous games. Which, now that the "new engine" has been thrown away in favour of unreal engine, it probably means even less for what the next games will look like. By the way, "Painting box" at 48:34 looks to me to be one of those block puzzles from previous games where you build a staircase out of bricks, particularly in Flitwick's classroom in Lego Harry Potter 1-4, but I think it shows up in some of the other games too. The blocks aren't the right shapes or sizes, but the way the purple bricks are set out feel extremely similar to some i remember seeing.
I think it could have been to test mechanics for future games, simply because some of the ones we see here seem to line up with the rumors we got last year. Supposedly, they were working on LEGO Batman 4, LEGO Guardians of the Galaxy, and LEGO Harry Potter games all at the same time, but the first two got dropped so they could focus solely on Harry Potter.
@@jomole1430 I hadn't heard that, but what I have heard is that the Skywalker saga engine has been dropped in favour of unreal engine, so anything in Skywalker saga isn't necessarily transferable to the next game.
@@stoopidapples1596 Good point. But it could still indicate that they might have been planning these other projects while working on this game. It’s interesting to see clues about their development process and speculate what they could mean.
small correction: in MECHTESTSYS1 objects with green handles for strong characters are more normally used in Lego Marvel games (all 3 marvel games) than Lego Batman (I don't rebember if Lego Batmas 3 had it, I think it had but I know DC Super Villains had it, so 2) also ReformIce_Ice was only used twice in Lego Marvel Super Heroes and Lego Batman 2, I can't really recall other games
6:11 Wait, so there was supposed to be a space battle of Endor section and they scrapped it? I mean, Fulfill your destiny is a perfect stage as is, but it would've been nice if we got to play as Lando to destroy the Death Star
idk if this is a thing but I cant imagine for the Mechtestsys1 is only for testing if the whole engine is suitable for other mechanics and future games, so I really doubt that they were already preparing for a specific game, but honestly i have no idea
I think the more likely option is it'd be a shop area for extras, or the place where you enter codes (like in old LEGO games which had cheat rooms where you'd enter cheat codes). the trophy room would be the place to view minikit builds, and the bacta tanks you can find on capital ships would have been for the customizer. That way, the ships would function as hub worlds, similar to D'qar in LEGO TFA.
I wonder why they scrap some of the levels and parts of the levels it would have been a good idea to keep them and to add more levels to the game even if the movies end up getting an uneven amount of levels it better than leaving out potential levels
That level where it’s just a start menu with a blank screen that happens whenever I try to boot up my LEGO Star Wars save and I think it’s corrupted now knowing that that’s an actual level is there any way to fix it?
RADDUS, if I am not mistaken, is the capital ship that belongs to the character of the same who isn't even in the game as he is a character from Rogue One who wasn't in the DLC.
@@wave9nut During The Last Jedi, after Poe’s Defiance and before Cantonica. There’s a whole thing about getting Finn some clothes since he’s in a bacta suit.

What caused the expenses

Some of these are really cool! MECHTESTSYS1 is awesome
Tetra?!
If only we had:
1. Character creator
2. Clone Wars missions seasons 3 to 7
3. Expanded universe missions
And levels in dlc
12:29 that area is seen in a video from years ago about the behind the scenes of the game (first looks at the game)

Also, i swear it was said somewhere that after TSS they are switching to UE5
If only there was a character creator
FR!! Hopefully they will still add this.

Well then they were either making a lego batman or a lego marvel game. Thanks for the info
@@linterniGamer I would say Batman game because of that over year old leak (geez time flies fast) about Lego Batman 4
Maybe they were testing mechanics of previous games on the new engine? For potential future products
The ice is also in Lego Dimensions.
Orange handles were in previous lego batman games, which served the same purpose as green handles
6:11 Wait, so there was supposed to be a space battle of Endor section and they scrapped it? I mean, Fulfill your destiny is a perfect stage as is, but it would've been nice if we got to play as Lando to destroy the Death Star
The "test driven" object is the batarang switch from Lego Batman 3
It's actually from Dimensions- but close enough.
@@Lokear I'm pretty sure it's also in Lego Batman 3, but I haven't played that in a while so I might need to replay it and make sure
@@ashtonwilaby I play these games *way* too much, lol. It isn't in LB3, but it is in Dimensions and DC Super-Villains.
@@Lokear ok
12:17 you could also use child flight,
Yoda goes up in place and hits the most reliably,
Count Dooku goes slowly upward but in a straight line
Let’s all appreciate how cool these unplayable levels that liter I was able to get and entertain us all
Death Star costume coming in clutch

7:40 the melenium falcon goes mach 69
Gonna take a guess here on most of the space levels. Many of them are probably the templates they based the finished free roam areas on.
I like how the falcon is the default ship
28:42, 29:01 and 29:37. I believe those maps are used for the smuggling side missions
I think that unused cheat room on the invisible hand was supposed to be for the cheat codes
And the trophy room might be trophy you get from some side mission in the open World just like Lego Marvel avangers
I think the trophy room was going to be used as some sort of display for Grevious's fine additions to his collection of lightsabors
Cheat room could have been some sort of prison if you pirated the game, I know some other games have that sort of thing

Name one game that does that. Just one.

The nebulae are used for the smuggler missions
Actually just the background is used
16:49 thats the ship from lego star wars 3
The mechtestsys1 seems to maybe be for a new Lego Indiana Jones game?
Nice!!!
"Battle of NaBOOB" funny
Łoł 1h 😮 thanks you i live this game

4:22 Can't you just use BB-8 to glitch through the wall or use a free camera to see what's through the door ?
There's nothing there
n blahs
1:05:28 Lightsaber type beat lol

The Raddus is the ship from TLJ. it's named after Admiral Raddus from Rogue One.
