Disgusting budget..
Everyone be it minister sitting in the parliament to a person running his bakery shop should be scrutinized the same way a salaried employee is asked to pay tax. A person who runs a bakery sells garbage without giving a receipt. Govt does not put a check and measure on him because may be there is no food inspector employed to check on the person selling garbage to consumer. People eating garbage and paying taxes to fulfill the desire of govt. A minister gets a helper who himself is a govt servant. They make food for the minister. A canteen which is run in the premises of parliament is subsidised and they need to pay only 1rs for a thali and a common man is paying these rehdiwalas , chaiwalas and bakerywalas amount and nobody checks on it.

Increasing taxes is a bad way to collect money. Increasing consumption and collecting GST, by reducing taxes generates more tax via GST collections and across all citizens, and benefits businesses serving the consumer market. It doesn't take a genius to understand the basics. Hard to rationalize when someone is unwilling to listen.
