Nice video. Thanks. I used to keep my driver in the bag because of dispersion. But then I started studying Scott’s method and now I pull it more when there’s room, and accept the outcome.

Great advice for lower strokes and really the proper way to manage your game. Iam 66 so my dispersion is much less than when I was younger it's funny how that works

If I doubt my chances with the D, I'll hit less club. Fairways and greens in regulation are the best way for a good score. I mostly play Senior Series here in my state, so every shot counts. This video is excellent advice. Well done

This is all you really need to know about Decade. It's a strategy system and it works. If you really want to get into your own stats, go for it! But it sounds like a lot of work to me (and I run basic stats for myself already). Fawcett also gets into the mental aspect of the game (a kind of meditation) which isn't under played and I haven't looked at yet but I think that it could be quite useful. As we all know, golf is 90% between the ears.

Mostly that makes sense, except the higher handicappers who make up the vast majority of golfers are constantly, I mean every time, short with their putts. Interesting advice when you tie it in with another decade suggestion, which is that the most successful golfers are more regularly past the flag with their approaches..

I like the idea but why would I need this for 6 months to a year when I could just take note of my dispersion and distances and use the concept you’ve already explained?

Mainly for the yardage books and the analysis.

Because the data the app gives you helps with decision making and takes emotion out of the equation.

I had to laugh when a top coach stated that the biggest difference between good/great golfers at whatever level whether Hcp golfer or Tour Pro is "Delusional Confidence" cos im one of those! in other words completely Mad! But i pull off a lot of trouble shots, chip -ins etc recently had my best run of 4 birdies in a row and hit the flag with my chip on the next! OK it cost me top 5 in county senior champs but that was due to being extremely stupid (or delusionally confident) Keep Believing! Ok it helps if you have a good (or delusionally confident) short game.

But in medal play i still need to accept a bogey and move on,but thats why seniors love stableford and BB!
