Mikey, your tutorials are the best. You do an excellent job at explaining what you're doing, as well as why you're doing it. Which, in my opinion, is the best way to teach something. I've been recommending your videos to friends, and they all seem to agree that your tutorials are the simplest out there.
Before watching this video: I used to draw Sticks, arms that do not look like arms at all. After watching this video: *_Muscular, realistic, high definition arms._*
Holy smokes. I just watched the part where he explains how to get the arm to join up to the body. It made so much more sense when he mentioned the bit of chest muscle. This whole time I was busy thinking "arm arm arm arm" and completely disregarding how it fits to parts that aren't the arm. Its like the whole world has been opened to me. I still suck at drawing arms...but at least now I understand why.
Oh! And personally bro I wouldn’t even think about how long your videos are and let that get to you. I personally really enjoy how they are all rather long. I like how you draw from scratch and really take time to actually explain why it needs to be drawn the ways you draw it. It makes so much more sense then tutorials where they just draw and that’s it. I like you talking and making them long! Thanks again
Your art tutorials are great and useful and I like them. Its drawing anime in a way that shows a certain style with proportion and guidelines. Thank u for helping and teaching others your art and the way you draw. Keep up the good work, Mikey
you helped me in the first five minutes of the video, and I stuck with it to be enlightened. I'm glad you're here doing these videos! you put hours of my work and strain to rest
Oh MIKEYMEGAMEGA, you make my weeks so much better with a constant flow of amazing art! Ive been waiting on this tutorial and I'm always thankful that you share your knowledge with us! Cheers Mikey!
Yes!! OMG Yes!! I needed this tutorial badly. I have been looking for others but it's really hard to find. Thank You +mikeymegamega you have saved me from going a bit more insane
Got here late, but dang mikey! I'm not entirely sure why, but this has been one of my favorite tutorials you've put up. Thanks a ton, it's just what I needed ^^ I think I particularly liked that touch of easy anatomy sprinkled in there lol.
Ive never been one to draw much, but your Tutorials made me want to try it out. Thank you Mikey, you are simply awesome. - with your tutorials, the only thing blocking my way is my spirit of giving up too quickly when things dosen't turn out pretty like your drawings.
Your videos have helped me so much bro! Greatly appreciate it! I literally can not find any videos besides yours that actually teach you how to draw manga. I couldn’t believe no one else has done it. So thanks! Lol YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY DO MORE ABOUT HAIR FROM DIFFERENT VIEWS! I have so much trouble with that.
found this very useful as most of your how to draw vids MMM. however you did this over a year ago so idk if you really want to know this still. I wish you you had endless videos. new stuff is nice but even the same topics from slightly different angles totally okay too. it's all just so good.
the first time I watched this I was like what is he mumbling about....now I have learned all of the muscles and how they work...and I'm like wow this is the most accurate description of the deltoid, bicep, and tricep
*watches tutorial* Oh, okay, so it's just practically circles and lines....No problem! *Spends four hours trying to make a circle* WTF How do you do this?!?!?
draw while watching, and when you realize you're messing up, don't progress through the video until you figured out what you're doing wrong. make sure you absorb everything he talks about
Hello MikeyMegaMega. I do art as well, though my own chosen medium is wood (Chainsaw carving and hand carving) I have honestly never been as talented with paper, something never seemed to click between the steps in my head, to my hand. Unlike wood, where I just basically cut it all away until I find the desired form. But, your videos have actually helped me made a very needed connection in terms of drawing, it has improved my wood work as well. Long, drawn out, but I wished to thank you for the videos, helped me greatly.
+Elvis Presley oh dude (or dudette) that sounds awesome! Do you have any of your work online? (I would check your channel now but am using the phone at work) really glad to hear it helped!
+mikeymegamega Sadly, I do not. I created this channel because it was the only way it would allow me to comment. A bit hard to record properly for me, and I teach folks at seminars, or classes in different states. I'm sure I could find a way to link a picture, but I'm at work as wel. Ha!
I always watch the totoural at least to the end of the time lapse lol. super helpful info and I love watching the time lapse I just love your art it's so perfect.
Very awesome tutorial...i was drawing while watching your video and for the first time i got it right! thanks for all these how to draw videos and i follow your videos cause they are very accurate.... i mean for beginners such as myself. Very very awesome work
Thx so much! I'm probably going to go through all your drawing tutorials lol. Your drawing is awesome by the way! I''ve been struggling to draw arms lol.
I have to admit that this was extremely insightful and it will definitely help me improve as an illustrator. I was wondering, do you have any videos on how to draw semi muscular women. Now, that would be cool. Thanks for the video.
On the fourth drawing, for a proper gyakuzuki (reverse punch), the hand should be just above the hip. This is something that is ingrained in the minds of most Karate practitioners and other martial arts as well.

Dude, awesome video, just one little thing: The fist you drew on the lady's right arm is a left hand. (Or it belongs to a hidden figure behind / beside her. )
Your tutorial is helping me a lot.I like how you draw structer body.So i hope can improve my drawing by watching your video.Sorry for my bad english writing
as always watching your video without knowing the flow of time... i just try to understand your drawing its already done! my goodness, gotta rewind from the start XD.
Does anyone else start drawing characters for hours and get really into it, only to look back and realize that you’ve created a monster with several flaws? Like fingers larger than the others, or different eye shapes, or oddly shaped limbs. Then, once you’ve analyzed the situation you throw it away in rage. Yeah, this happens to me a lot. Side note: I laughed while typing the part of elongated fingers and eyes since I was picturing it in my head and it looked really dumb.
Not sure if anyone told you who the character was in MK but the four armed character you were asking about was Goro. The prince of shokan in the mortal kombat series
Good evening, Mr. Mickey Mega Mega awesome. Well i liked how you explained things about anatomy and stuff and it's make me really able to comprehend thing as i am still suck with making my own character and only able to make good drawing through 1000% referenceT-T. Keep up the good work and can't wait for your next tutorial and if possible i am requesting about further explanation and need to view stuff about making a good poses and proportion. Thank you Mr..... ^^
Me: Looks like I watched all the tutorials... Time to draw. 5 mins later Me: HOW TF DO I DRAW THIS IN ANOTHER ANGLE????!!! HOW DO I DRAW HAIR ?????!!! D:
This might be a weird question: How would you draw a character with four or more arms? I've seen examples like Spinnerette where the extra arms are just stuck on the sides. But I'd be curious to see how you, with the way you draw, would build the body structure for a four (or more) armed character.
