What holds back future Chefs from going into this career is the intense work environment portrayed in the kitchen by television and movies. Apparently it’s real and not very appealing to younger talent. Can you blame them? The speed and precision is based on seating diners at a table, feeding them quickly and flipping that table as many times per night as possible. In my opinion this needs to change. 🤷👨🍳
