“Interesting design and build techniques for great looking and realistic hull shape. The model is quite large, good for displaying. Some structures are weak, need to be careful when move or lift the model. Overall, she is very beautiful Ship and great design.
HMS Columbia is a british 36 gun frigate from the early 19th century. The ship is armed with 24x18lb Longguns in the mainbattery. In addition there are 8x9lb longguns and 8x12 lb on the fore castle and the quaterdeck. There are also two guns at the bow and two at the stern. The model is equipped with further details such as a ship's bell, several gratings, a companionway, a skylight, an toilett, 2 anchor capstans, two anchors, a jack-o'-lantern, a steering wheel and a pretty galleon figure. The ship also has a very detailed rigging. In addition, the ship impresses with a particularly striking stern gallery. The model consists of 4763 individual parts.

It is clearly a MOC, so I won't bother pointing out the fragility of it. It looks amazing non the less.
I think I just might steal the bottom part of the hull, and then experiment with something more sturdy.

Looks great. The hull-build is interesting. Though, in my opinion, your own ship-designs are far better, more stable. Maybe it inspires you -hull wise - and you come with something of your own. I love your "La Grenouille", and the rebuild of it on my board is still my pride! ❤
Indeed, that are my thoughts as well, same for the gaps in the hull, that add to this instability..
But I think we all would love to see your fleet, side by side.

probably designed in a computer. i saw lots of places better techniques could have added some stability.

No support beams for the top deck; making it a pain to build without breaking anything? Using four one by one tiles instead of a one by four? Definitely was made digitally. The hull design was a fun change but the build itself could have been better.

In my country for 150$ I can buy a Chinese copy of the LEGO set 10924 "Titanic". And once I even saw it for $120. I didn’t buy it only because there is no room in the apartment for this 1.35m monster.

I can't get it to my country. Lol. I will need to ask a friend or family in areas that they do deliver to.
The interiors of Royal Navy ships would be white on the walls and ceilings with a wooden floor, obviously this depended on the room but it might save you money. Don’t know if white bricks are cheaper than black.
For Lego, few black pieces aren't available in white, especially some bigger modified plates. Bricks are fine.

Wow this set is flimsy as hell
The ship looks great, but i had to stop watching. The instability issues were just to much for my OCD. 😂
It looks good but a design like this would never make it through Lego's standards in regard to durability. I'd get frustrated putting it together
Author, after watching this video, I can say that you are an excellent designer, but not such a good Lego designer. The assembly is very unstable, it hurts me to watch, because it seems that it will fall apart from any sneeze. Why not provide a more reliable connection of components?
UPD: That was my first video here, but I've watched others and really liked how you built La Grenouille. Very! Although this model attracts me visually more.
