We went on the Beyond for a early retirement cruise, in the Retreat. We thought it was good but no better than AQ. On the Apex next week , 1st October 2024. Happy cruising everyone 😊
VV is still our favourite but Edge is a very close 2nd. They are very different ships and different vibes onboard. If you’re looking for a more relaxed vibe then Edge would be the preference. I don’t think you’d go wrong with either but there are more activities on VV. The food is better on VV (Luminae and Eden are same level as V). If you want luxury then Edge is the winner, if you’re after fun then it’s VV. It really all depends on what type of cruise you want.

There's a USB port on the side of the phone on the other side of the bed :) Question, at Port Everglades, is there a special luggage drop-off area for suite guests? or do you just handed it over to one of the porters there?

We sailed on the Edge - Retreat Class last October/ November. Rome to Dubai.
Back on her again in March 2025 and April 2026

Sadly we’re not sure as we haven’t used that port. So sorry Johnny.

Yeah seems a bit of an oversight doesn’t it! But it was a great suite otherwise and yes, the Retreat is special!
