- Any owner of the LK150 knitting machine quickly has to come to grips with the fact that this machine has no ribbing attachment, and that if they want to knit a garment with ribbed edges, they need to learn how to overcome this obstacle, either by knitting a rib by hand on needles, hand manipulating it, or doing a mock rib. Or, knitting some other kind of edge to their garment.
In this series I’ll take you through the various options and I hope you’ll practice these so that you can make an informed choice the next time you’re faced with this conundrum. This is just a taster, so please also investigate more choices through books, old knitting magazines, Facebook etc.
My tutorials and free patterns are in the Facebook group Machine Knitting Beginners and Returners Circle.
EVERYTHING except the hand knit rib is done on the machine.

Would you maybe consider sharing tips on how to finish a hand knit joke sweater on the lk150? Thnx!
@@rgranada-t6n I would knit the plain pieces first, then join them up in the round to knit the yoke.
