My biggest worry is that we become so impatient, as a fan base, that we turn the head coaching position into a revolving door. I think we should fire coaches if they can't get their experienced player to be successful, but if there's a once in a generation injury spree, you can't expect the coaches to have the freshman completely coached up and ready. We don't want our head coaching position to look like the Cleveland Browns QB position. That being said, BV doesn't have much time to prove that he's the right guy.
In the 2000 undefeated season, how many games do you think we would have won if Fagan, Savage, Norman, Mackie, and Woolfolk were all injured for practically the whole season? We would definitely lose to Nebraska, K-State, A&M, O-State. Texas is hard to say because we won by so many points. What are your thoughts?
I disagree with Trav that player development falls on BV. If Bedenbaugh has been at OU longer than BV and he don’t have his O line in order how is that BV fault?? Bedenbaugh has only developed 2 high school O-lineman to even be good enough to play consistently at OU since 2018 and that’s a fact. Andrew Rayme and Anton Harrison. How is that BV fault?? Sounds like Bedenbaugh can’t develop and we are going on 7 years of this trend happening.
because he can fire him. or hire more OLine assistants, or talk with schmitty about the oline conditioning, or motivate bedenbaugh in a myriad of ways. of course some is out of his control, but BV has control to make massive change in any area of the program.
BV sux. Bowl records do matter. BV in the portal has sucked. 7-6 is better than 6-7. 2 out of 3 seasons are losing seasons with BV. OU is irrelevant as long as BV is the HC. OU 13th in their first year in the SEC. 2-6 conference record. 17th ranked recruiting class. Bad hires he's made Roof/Littrell ETC....... He isn't HC material, being a fine DC does not always make you a good HC, and He ISN'T. Said this since year 1.....I have been proved right. OU will suck in 2025 it has written so let it be done.....JOE C needs to go as well. OU is cheap and NO ONE over 55 should lead anything except Patty Gasso at Oklahoma.......Joe C is too old to be in his position, force him out and get someone younger. BV is not smart enough to be HC force him out and get someone younger, his pressers after losses sound like a 1960's soundbite from a losing coach. Bill Bedenbaugh gotta go as well. Worst O-line in the SEC, don't want to hear about injuries, prepare for it, he doesn't or can't. OU in the worst position it has been in since the Blake era. OU=Irrelevant for the first time in its history. Wasn't irrelevant during Blake's era because OU was in a conference where they could still be effective while down. In the SEC they HAVE been FORGOTTEN. That is a first probably since Bud Wilkinson showed up at OU what 80 years ago. OU has become insignificant. BV is worse than Lincoln Riley as a HC.
This lets me know y'all don't know anything about the team the coach was telling you they are a work in progress will you say that's just coach speak well it's not it's the facts remember 2022 recruiting class bust it's not the coach
You should be worried if Bill Bedenbaugh can develop Fasusiz based on his recent track record of high school recruits since 2018 going on 7 years the odds say he can’t.

so, our TE room is done for?
My hot take of 2025 is you’re still pumping sunshine! We should be more cautious until OUr team proves they can win. The schedule is tougher!

you're right. some of our receivers were snakes this year and held out. at least andrel anthony. nic is soft. farooq is mid.
Would like to hear Travis talk ball with Josh M. Travis is too knowledgeable for this platform, and isn’t a fanboy.. same with Josh
yeah, that would be cool. Trav is the most intelligent of all the OU beat guys
My hottest take for 2025 is that we will win 10 games and mateer and Arbuckle are our saving grace
I didn’t know Chad smith new ball like that
I agree totally with chad.... all fhs BV aucks talk is so unreal
🔥
Stoops won it all in year 2.
I was wrong about Jackson Arnold
me too

@ I’m sure he has made some of those changes that you suggested but once they got into the season it was too late.
Jay is annoying af, and pg is everything that’s wrong with the fanbase.. clueless as hell.. 10 games in 25?? Based on what? Lol
Nothing but hope. The O-line needs to improve first before we can say what OU will do in 2025.
i agree, they are v annoying.

2022 recruiting class was a bust?
Even though Fasusi looked great at UA All American camp. But will Bedenbaugh let him start if he proves he's capable of being a dominant force.
