DC Versus linebacker coach recruiting is going on spring ball starts in five weeks development is crucial!!! If you learn anything from last year, not having a quarterback coach in the method that created !!! The linebacker position after this year with Kanik Lewis and and McKenzie likely moving on recruiting is primary. I know we have analysts on staff who can help it just seems taking way too long. I disagree with Trav that player development falls on BV. If Bedenbaugh has been at OU longer than BV and he don’t have his O line in order how is that BV fault?? Bedenbaugh has only developed 2 high school O-lineman to even be good enough to play consistently at OU since 2018 and that’s a fact. Andrew Rayme and Anton Harrison. How is that BV fault?? Sounds like Bedenbaugh can’t develop and we are going on 7 years of this trend happening.

BV sux. Bowl records do matter. BV in the portal has sucked. 7-6 is better than 6-7. 2 out of 3 seasons are losing seasons with BV. OU is irrelevant as long as BV is the HC. OU 13th in their first year in the SEC. 2-6 conference record. 17th ranked recruiting class. Bad hires he's made Roof/Littrell ETC....... Worst O-line in the SEC, don't want to hear about injuries, prepare for it, he doesn't or can't. OU in the worst position it has been in since the Blake era. OU=Irrelevant for the first time in its history. Wasn't irrelevant during Blake's era because OU was in a conference where they could still be effective while down. In the SEC they HAVE been FORGOTTEN. That is a first probably since Bud Wilkinson showed up at OU what 80 years ago. OU has become insignificant. BV is worse than Lincoln Riley as a HC.

In the 2000 undefeated season, how many games do you think we would have won if Fagan, Savage, Norman, Mackie, and Woolfolk were all injured for practically the whole season? We would definitely lose to Nebraska, K-State, A&M, O-State. Texas is hard to say because we won by so many points. What are your thoughts?

My biggest worry is that we become so impatient, as a fan base, that we turn the head coaching position into a revolving door. I think we should fire coaches if they can't get their experienced player to be successful, but if there's a once in a generation injury spree, you can't expect the coaches to have the freshman completely coached up and ready. We don't want our head coaching position to look like the Cleveland Browns QB position. That being said, BV doesn't have much time to prove that he's the right guy.

We played one of the toughest schedules in college football in a new conference. And I got news for you we're not winning 10 games next year because of the schedule. BV is one of the best defensive coordinator and motivational speaker in CFB. But, not a great head coach. I also don’t think DeMarco and Emmett Jones are all that either.

People are high on Hawkins. I'm not yet. Had an okay game against Auburn but the O only scored 17 pts. The D scored 10. I'm not impressed with 17 pts in a game. He threw for 160 yds. Nothing to write home about. I think we ought to never have under 250 yds passing. He did run for 70 yds which is good. Against Tex 3 pts, 150 passing on 30 attempts, 27 yds running. Not good in any category. Terrible, in fact. Even worse against SC. He was in on about 6 plays, and on two SC scored TDs and he set up another SC score with another TD, all in six plays. I'm not seeing it yet with him. The media is constantly telling us how good he is but I want to see something first and for a while, not a flash here and there. He scares me in fact.
