Pretty decent gun, you're gonna want two though; One for that add clear and another for adaptive munition /turnabout for master and GM. Edit: Pretty dang nice for lost sectors too.
So, by using Adaptative munition, how much are you able to reduce the penalty from different energy shields? Like 50%? I've been using Hard Light a lot to counter this problem but that insane Ambitious Assassin sounds great. Maybe I need to use a second crafted Assault Rifle?
Running this gun on my Solar Titan, with sunspot and ignition build, I am a GOD. All sunspots heal, as well as grant Sol Invictus and Roaring Flames, with Phoenix Cradle granting all this to allies, and spots lasting twice as long.
If you wanna build for a meme, enhanced tap the trigger and enhanced dynamic sway reduction have a crossover point where you're getting benefits from both.
if u got an incandescent roll and use well warlock with fragment that ignites killed enemies in supers, this combo can make enemies blow up twice, its a bit overkill but fun to watch them blow up twice
Had this same roll crafted for like a week now. It's great. But now I just unlocked battler to build using pugilist/incandescent. Can you say Monte Carlo on steroids lol. Going to craft two more of them too. Perpetual motion/killclip for pvp. Pugilist/blunt execution rounds for easy unstoppable kills using the melee mod for Solar this season too. Plus with this Auto and the pulse they pair so nicely with path of burning steps for titans too. Just melts everything. Put on melee well mod and font of might for easy 50% damage boost from 1 melee kill to start proc. the damage boost of firewalker. That's 90% when you get it chaining.

If I am going to raid this season i definetely want to use Taipan and Ammit, maybe even in the same loadout. Thanks for this awesome video about Ammit. I did not have my hopes up for this weapon, but you changed my mind :-) For a primary solar weapon with Incandescent it should compete with my BXR-Battler, Ogma or Staccato.
I feel Bungie missed a huge opportunity to add a perk like Incandescent for Arc 3.0. Something like Riskrunner's inherent trait that chains lightning after taking Arc damage. Even something a little different that applies Jolt to all targets in a radius for a short period on kill.
stats for all enhanced paired with incand. is soo nasty lol, its pretty much always procd, would be cool to have wellspring instead, but it pairs nicely regardless
You should do a video on the new perk VOLTSHOT insane add clear and on the new scout rifle from the seasonal activity you can roll voltshot demolitionist.
How does this compare to Calus Mini Tool? I would think mini tool could apply scorch faster than the AR but the AR doesn't need to be reloaded as often and would be safer to use in higher end content. Is it worth farming this out if I already have a mini tool with enhanced perks?

Incandescent kills apply 30 scorch & will apply 40 scorch with “Ember of Ashes” fragment equipped. With enhanced incandescent it’s increased to 40 scorch & to 85 scorch with “Ember of Ashes” fragment equipped! 🤯
I always use incandescent due to the fact that Phoenix Cradle will proc and give restoration to my team even when they run through incandescent pillars if fire
I have a scout rifle with the incandescent roll and it is pretty good
Love Omolon Precision Frames. Was only thinking about the Taipan since Im usually SMG all the way, but enden up enjoying the gun and glad both weapons make it a great starting point for newer players. This one feels clean like Uriels Gift and the perk tree makes it very viable for Anti Barrier.
I mean, I've logged over 600 hours and Taipan has become my main damage LFR, so it's not just for new players haha
this is exactly what i use. Healing grenade, gunpowder gambit, ammit ar2 god-craft. Its basically like having both grenades
I can’t wait to craft this with smallbore tactical mag enhanced ambitious and enhanced incandescent 👌🏽 great video
It's GREAT for an auto rifle but Mini Tool with enhanced incandescent kills even faster plus gives a sprint perk and +2 mobility.
Saw you reload doing the alters and saw 110 in the mag and I could have looked like a cartoon from a third person perspective
I got one last night with stats for all and incandecent on it. Cracking weapon.
I can't wait to get a decent dawn chorus roll to run a solar build with incandescent.
DSR + TTT for pvp is monster
0:26 Graviton lance is the best weapon to use there. Multiple low tier enemies = Many chain kills in a row. Just kill one and watch the void fireworks 😁😁
Gonna be honest,I wrote this thing off when I first got it because the rolls I got from the quest steps were mediocre and the linear fusion was just so powerful even before leveling it up
But now I might head into last wish and level this thing up to try it out
Your videos are always welcome
Cheers pal =D
Glad I’m not the only one who uses this
If I am going to raid this season i definetely want to use Taipan and Ammit, maybe even in the same loadout. Thanks for this awesome video about Ammit. I did not have my hopes up for this weapon, but you changed my mind :-) For a primary solar weapon with Incandescent it should compete with my BXR-Battler, Ogma or Staccato.
Do you get both required Redframes for Taipan and admit, or do you have to get one by farming afterwards
didn't know that Incandescent is craftable. I've been using the RNG one I got. gonna customize one. I love that one.
I feel Bungie missed a huge opportunity to add a perk like Incandescent for Arc 3.0. Something like Riskrunner's inherent trait that chains lightning after taking Arc damage. Even something a little different that applies Jolt to all targets in a radius for a short period on kill.
It’s called voltshot. In some way it’s even better than incandescent.
@@katsuofujita6488 all the elemental perks require a kill to activate
they added
The calus mini tool has incandescent on it too its mad.
3 :12 u missed the hammer throw XD
I got a Retraced Path with subsistence/incandescent and good god it’s amazing
stats for all enhanced paired with incand. is soo nasty lol, its pretty much always procd, would be cool to have wellspring instead, but it pairs nicely regardless
Im so glad its a good gun, I genuinely got excited to see a craftable autorifle
Id expect nothing less from a uriels gift and the number auto rifle look alike. Those 2 auto rifles were insane back in their day.
Armour piercing rounds plus stats for all and incandescent is the best roll imo
Good to you using a Gambit memento brother!
Haven't taken the thing off. Works very well with all classes. Amazing weapon. Especially for the AR fans out there. Smooth like butter
You should do a video on the new perk VOLTSHOT insane add clear and on the new scout rifle from the seasonal activity you can roll voltshot demolitionist.
I have two of them. One pvp and one for pve. Definitely enjoying them although my pvp version has seen waaaaay more usage
How does this compare to Calus Mini Tool? I would think mini tool could apply scorch faster than the AR but the AR doesn't need to be reloaded as often and would be safer to use in higher end content. Is it worth farming this out if I already have a mini tool with enhanced perks?
I like this style of video from you. Please keep them going.
This with the Titan chest piece for auto reloads sounds nasty
I honestly haven’t had a need to go back for crafted weapons since Season of the Risen. But this with my Titan compared to a crafted Calus Mini-Tool, I think I’ll take the Auto Rifle. Lol
Thank you Houndish, you make great content.
