I don't think I would ever be brave enough to try haggis and blood sausage but every other thing looks so yummy. I've also never eaten baked beans with breakfast but I love them. I live in Texas, and we eat baked beans with BBQ lol. Those fried tattie scones look sooo yummy also! Thanks for sharing your part of the world with us :)

I live in England: fortunately my Son in Law's family live in Scotland. When he visits we stock up on square sausage, bacon and haggis, thanks to his kindness in bringing it for us!

In Northern Ireland we have soda bread and potato bread, thankfully no haggis 😂

Nom nom nom! Did I mention nom? Gawd I LOVE a cooked breakfast - full English for me everytime - I love square sausage too! I had a friend from Belfast when I was younger and whenever I visited her Mum would do an 'Ulster Fry' with soda bread and potato bread - omg how yummy! I've not had a cooked breakfast for months, but last weekend I did scrambled egg, bacon and black pudding with thick white bread from a bloomer with butter, I wanted fried bread, but I think that's best with sliced bread! Gawd I'm hungry now!

I had a fried fruit cake slice with the potato scone, black pudding etc. A hearty breakfast before watching the football at Mortons ground

Thank You "Mr. What's for Tea" for suggesting this... and you, Cheryl, for accepting the challenge, LOL. So many options, all sound great. Really want to try haggis, but so far can only find it canned here (USA). Growing up we would have Sunday family breakfasts, usually with an assortment of eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, toast, seasonal fruit to choose from. Now it's not as often... and the choices are fewer, lol. Seems like a large breakfast, BUT we have to remember that, although today it may feel like a splurge or treat, in years past (and still, actually) it was much needed fuel for all the hard, physical labor that was done, like farming, herding, mining, etc. Looking forward to this. Have yourself a GREAT week, and HI to Mr. What's for Tea and of course Jasper. 🍳 🥞 🥓 *LK*
Oh, as for the Hash-browns, not sure how McD's does them, but I notice that when I fry them in bacon drippings they comeout really flavorful and crisp.

Gosh I wish I was coming to yours on Saturday 😉😉 looks so delicious! I need to have hash browns and baked beans! Omg I love McDonald’s hash browns.... my parents always had fried bread, but I can’t eat many things fried. I was the weird one in the family... I grilled everything and had a boiled egg 😂😂🙈🙈 I might have one for my dinner..... yum 😋 xxx

Oh I love a fry up Michelle :) I grill the bacon, tomatoes, hash browns and sometimes the sausage. I always fry the haggis, black pudd, mushrooms & tattie scone though! Beans just get whacked into the micro x

@@WhatsForTea Hello, For a traditional Full Scottish you have A slice of Bread (Fried, Toasted or Plain buttered) obviously some will replace with Potato Bread being Scottish?, Bacon, Baked Beans, Eggs, Lorne (Square patties of Sausage meat I believe invented to make Sausage Sandwiches easier)? (Why Sausages are optional), Mushrooms, Sausages (optional with Scottish) and Tomatoes. You do not have Black Pudding or Haggis. English has Black Pudding. Irish has Black Pudding and Hogs Pudding. Welsh has Cockles, Laverbread (Seaweed), White Pudding (like Black and Hogs Puddings but made with Leeks and Onions). Some will give you a Side Plate with more Buttered Bread or Toast. Obviously people will add or omit as they want? Personally I like Black and Hogs Pudding. Do you buy the Haggis sliced or do you buy one and slice it?

Oh no Cheryl now I want a full Scottish breakfast lol, bacon, links, square, hash brown, beans, tattle scones, fried egg I'm not a fan of haggis or black pudding oh Yh I'm thinking of a fry up this weekend as well looking forward to your cook with me , don't get me started on McDonald's hash browns when we go to Orlando they sell them all day in the McDonalds over there so when we get our burger meals I get a hash brown with mine instead of fries lush X

I’ve just had my dinner but am somehow hungry again and crying from happiness after seeing this 😂 I’ve tried my hand at blood pudding since no one around here sells it. just so I could have as close to a full English as I could get. At least that was (sort of) doable, the haggis on the other hand.... it actually makes me sad that I can’t have it unless I’m over in your neck of the woods 😅 alas, it’ll just make any future visits all the better!
Thanks you for sharing this, definitely subscribing and looking forward to your new videos and going back and watching your previous ones! Take care! 💛

I had a friend YEARS ago who lived in London....when she came to visit, she'd always take loaves of plain bread, Lorne sausage & Irn Bru away back down with her lol :) I thought it was the funniest thing. Then I moved down for a while...and understood! :D

Oh that looks so good. My parents were from Ireland so, similarly, we had a big Sunday breakfast but no haggis, nor square sausage. We did have black pudding and also white pudding, both so delicious. But I would still rather go to your home and have that Scottish breakfast! ;)
