Bought a new 2019 Corvette Grand Sport, with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, and it’s a great car! Huge power, fantastic handling, and with the magnetic ride control, the car goes from track stiff to cruising smooth in an instant. My wife even asks when we can go for drives in the Grand Sport, and that rarely happens with my NSX. Buy one, if at all possible, life is short.
It's been 2 years, do you ever wish you got a z06 instead? I'm in the market for a c7 soon and would love your input

I’ve had my 2019 GS 3lt for a month now,.. fabulous and astonishing to say the least. 👍👍 On our first road trip and loving every minute of it. Btw,.. gas mileage is incredible,..30 mpg average barely broken in.

Appreciate it. Was just bugging a GM rep today about future products. He wouldn't give me a straight answer, but seemed pleased when I brought up the new dual cam V8 patents that GM submitted. :)

I think should have tested with targa in place to give more of a solid top feel and see if that reduced the flex and rattle.,....if that is what you hoped for(solid top). Good review...with all hype on C8...and after selling my C5 Z06....am thinking a C7 Z51 is my next vehicle....unless find a sweet GS but leaning towards Z51 Stingray.
Which one did you get? Would you recommend? Prices are crazy right now (smh).

Hey man quick question, the video you made showing how to make flames with the n55 engine, can those settings be applied to an f30 n55 auto?
F30 has different calibration, unsure if it will work the same.
Anyway u could help me out?
I would find someone who knows the F30 platform. Never touched one. Only do E chassis.

Sport mode has same sound and performance actually is better!
the VETTE GRAND SPORT SHOULD HAVE AN ENGINE EXCLUSIVELY FOR IT. CHEVY, if your interested, an updated version of the LS 7, naturally aspirated version, then I would bet the ZO7pack would have the TALL SPOILER. Chevy claims it would NOT INSTALL the TALL SPOILER due to too much DOWN FORCE for the STANDARD ENGINE affecting TOP SPEED.
The Grand Sport has 465 H.P., five more than the standard model. The automatic is much faster than the manual transmission equipped car.
You also failed to explain that the Grand Sport is identical to the Z06 less the super charger. Same wide body, super wide wheels and tires, same dry sump engine oiling system, same suspension, same brakes, same details.

Wrong, hotshot. The GS has 460hp, 5 more than the base Stingray with 455hp, unless that Stingray has the Z51 package which also has 460hp.

Negative ghost rider, the grandsport body is not identical to the ZO6. The vehicles have hoods that differ due to the presence and lack of the supercharger. Nice try though. In time I hope that you learn to do research before making foolish claims.
Motor is NOT identical. The GS has and LT1, the Z06 has an LT4 with a supercharger
Aint nothing like that raw power you get from N/A engines, especially a v8!! Plus no super charger wine or turbo noise can beat the sound of a Natural aspirated engine. Thats a fact. Too many fan boys on here, crying about a z06, if thats what you want why click on the video?? or why not get a zr1 ??Theres no right or wrong answer about which is better. TH-cam comments are hilarious to me.
The grand sport is about the same as the stingray. I test the c7 grand sport and the 2008 base corvette- both the same acceleration
The Grand Sport isn't about straight line acceleration, it's a handling and track day performance package.

Corvettes are a pretty robust and reliable package over all. What problems are you referring to?
