    My first trip to Thailand was in January 2023. I’m going back in January and February 2024. It is stunningly beautiful! People are friendly. The prices are much lower than in the US.

    Thank you for your lovely video!
    I have been traveling to Thailand since 1979, its an amazing country with friendly smiley people, never seen any other country such as Thailand.
    I came back home last week after 21 days of visiting Phuket, Phi Phi, Kho Yao Noi, Krabi Railay beach, Khao Ko and of course Bangkok.
    Just waiting for December to arrive and be there again!

      It’s P P. We actually have two identically sounding alphabets Romanizing as P and Ph. So normally we silence the H sound.

      If they only tried to pronounce the names of the places as locals do... 😵‍💫

  • @sirisakpansiri233
    @sirisakpansiri233 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Something went wrong since Thai people translate Thai name to English in the past. Because "P" word represent Thai letters " พ " and " ภ ". Both of them are same tone pronunciation. Therefore, Thai academician who had less experience in linguistic trying to convert them with mathematics basis. That's the reason why many English speakers saying wrong with Thai specific places, such as "Phi Phi" (read as "P P") and "Phuket" (read as "Pu-Ket"). Thailand is "no problem" country and let tourists guess by themselves. Even if Bangkok which is the capital city of Thailand but Thai citizen has never called this name for almost a century. 😃😃
